While Geist is certainly very capable and highly intelligent, they are not exactly the most
well-liked. Ever since they've come to not-earth, they have become more and more
distant from the others, being occupied by philosophical questions and the like. They
have an eccentric air to them and for most, it's too burdensome to try and get close to
this not-cat.
Geist
Backstory
While Geist doesn't like being a leader, they ended up as the decision-maker for
their group of not-cats back on Earth. The city was an unforgiving place, but Geist
managed to keep everyone fed and safe, until one day Nestor invited them to
leave, and go to not-Earth. Things couldn't be worse there and Nestor had proven
himself to be trustworthy many times, so Geist agreed.
Life on not-Earth was like a dream. No more worries about food, or shelter, or
street dogs. When Geist realized this, the first thing they did was sleep for a whole
day, and from then on they didn't look to the present like they had always had to
before, and instead, looked into the future. First, they thought, what could this
place become? What potential could they and their friends dig out of the raw,
untouched landscape before them?
Then, their thoughts went even further. What was this place even? Why were they
the ones who had been taken here? And what was beyond the horizon, yes, even
beyond the skies? Questions they hadn't dared to ask since they had been a kitten,
for those questions took time that they couldn't spare back on Earth.
