The Arrival
It is known that all not-cats are cats from Earth, and there are no such things as humans on this version of Earth that we live in. However, Red is not like that. In fact, he used to be human back when he was still alive. What did this mean? It may seem that humans are capable of coming to not-Earth. However, it also seems that Red is the only one that did that. He had simply gotten reincarnated as a cat on Earth right before he got sent here.
Waking up in the middle of a forest is surprising to him, but not enough that he's also in the company of five other strangers - cats? cat strangers? - in front of a giant moose with floating eyes. Startled, Red jumped back, his fur bristling. 'This is just too strange!' he thinks to himself, eyes sweeping over the other cats and back to the colossal figure in front of them. As if sensing the animosity coming from the little group of felines, it sighed, closing all of its eyes in resignation and opening them again, staring at the little group.
Suddenly, a flash of light enveloped them, forcing the cats and Red to close their eyes. Once the blinding light is gone and they opened their eyes, they were sent to what looks like a different part of the forest, sans giant horned creature with many eyes. Looking around, Red huffed and relayed instructions to the other cats to look for sticks and any sort of edible food. It looks like he's staying here and he'll need to be the one to make sure they survive the night and many days ahead.

The Settling
As time passed, days bled into weeks and months. Seasons came and went, with the little group that came from Earth slowly expanding into a family of sorts. Apparently Red and the others found out the giant moose's name; its Nestor, and he is the guardian of the woods they're currently residing in. So in other words, he is like a god to them. The prospect of having a god simply residing in the same area is fascinating to the rest, as he seems to be benevolent. At times he leaves trinkets outside their living space, other times he leaves... well, other not-cats (Red found this out because on his gathering rounds, he would catch glimpses of the ones from not-Earth where they seemed to lack opposable thumbs, whereas those that came from Earth has them).
So Red, being the appointed leader of the group, took them in naturally, giving them a home and a purpose in this strange land. Over time, Red has adopted 4 kittens given by Nestor - now growing into adolescents - and have sort of become a single dad at some point. Which is funny because he was never in a relationship before coming here to not-Earth. Until one day, a strange looking cat was found lingering outside their living spaces. '... they look like me,' thought Red. And indeed; Blue is a cat of Null wind just like Red is. Their only difference is their fur length. Still surprised, Red welcomes him into the extended family and introduced him to the rest of the not-cats there. As expected, he received a warm welcome from everyone, even from Red's adopted children.
"Maybe... being a cat is not bad at all," Red muttered to no one in particular, casting a fond look over the found family that he helped to create.
