There are many things to see and do on your profile! You'll have your avatar cat displayed first, followed by your gameplay dailies. Your Daily Activities will be touched upon below, in
2. Gameplay and Daily Activities.
Starting with the sidebar, your custom cat is your default avatar! If you'd like to change it to another cat, you can head to
Account Settings > Change Avatar. Your village name and profile can also be freely edited under
Edit Profile.
This little battery is your account age! Don't worry, you don't need to be forum-active. It ticks up at exactly 14/28/49/98/196/392/588/784 days until you reach the 9th bar, which is 2 years, 1 month, 3 weeks, and 2 days.
Birthdays are visible by default, but you can unlist yours by putting your Date of Birth as Invisible in
Privacy Settings.
Under Friends, you can find a helpful
User Search if you'd like to find your friends! Following it is your Forum History which has your replies and original posts, and is only visible to you and moderators.
In settings, you'll find a helpful amount of Quality of Life features that help you to curate your experience:
Under
Privacy Settings you can change who can:
- message you

- Eye imagery. This applies only to Nestor’s grounds for now. Baking bean cloud eyes are not disabled.
- Symbols on the Village Cats page (disabled by default). This helps to show what Wind and Personality your not-cat is! Aspect will be unlocked when Magic is available.
- Adventuring Animations. This enables/disables typing, dice roll, and creature movement effects. Note that some visible motion will remain in the timings of text and buttons appearing and disappearing. You may also find the page load time between actions is more noticeable when animations are disabled.

2. Gameplay and Daily Activities
Nestor
Visiting Nestor's Meeting Grounds is the 1st daily task listed in your profile. It turns red once completed.
Written by nap #61.
Once per day, you can visit Nestor and say hello, and they will give you
a free item or cat. The items range from basic resources to clothing and decor that can normally be found through the various gathering jobs, to Nestor-exclusive decor and clothing!
The item database can tell you where every item is from, so if you're not sure, it's a good place to check. Some items, especially Nestor-exclusives, can be sold to other players on the
Open Market for a decent amount of notes.
Nestor can also give you not-cats. Adults from Nestor have no parents, are listed as having "Migrated from Earth" and will have a completely random birthday like your starting squad. Not-cats that are not yet adults must be adopted by one of your not-cats to claim them. Any cat is eligible - even Nulls! - and if they're partners, both can be the kitten's parents! Any prior children of a cat become siblings to the new one.
Luncheons
The daily Luncheon is the 2nd daily task listed in your profile. It turns orange once completed.
Written by nap #61.
In order to feed your cats a luncheon, you must unlock the Baker occupation by crafting a Bonfire from the
Builder tab of the crafting workshop, or a Brick Oven or Stone Oven from the
Mason tab. The more cats you have, the more ingredients it takes to make a luncheon. At first, with 6 cats, each meal takes 6 ingredients each, but the specific ingredients and their amounts vary by recipe.

Gathering
Gathering is the 3rd daily task listed in your profile. It turns yellow once completed.
Written by nap #61.
Every day, you get to send your cats out to perform their day jobs. They will bring back items for you depending on their occupation. Some jobs have a material requirement but those ones also have a chance to bring back more of the item used, depending on how well they do.
When a cat performs its job, the site rolls a die to determine how well they do. A 20 is perfect and grants you the maximum yield, while a 1 (or even a negative number!) may only yield one item.
Each not-cat can have an occupation assigned from the ones you have unlocked. You start with 6:
Hunter, Gatherer, Fishing, Bug Catching, Builder, and Mason. The first four have no item requirement and are the safest to perform if your cats do not have good stats or modifiers, since you can't lose anything by rolling poorly. The unlockable job Miner also has no item requirement. The other unlockable jobs,
Baker, Gardener, Herbalist, Farmer, Flockherd, Clothier, Artist, Blacksmith, Apothecary, Craftscat, and Scribe, along with
Builder and Mason, all have material requirements to perform. Materials the not-cat would need to perform their job, such as sticks for the builder to make planks with.
A not-cat's stats (Bravery, Benevolence, Energy, Extroversion, and Dedication) and abilities (Strength, Agility, Health, Finesse, Cleverness, Perception, and Luck) influence their ability to perform the various jobs. The particulars on which stats correspond to which jobs are seen from any not-cat's page, which also contains their job modifiers.
The modifiers affect the lower range of their available rolls so as not to lock out not-cats with low stats from good rolls. A not-cat with a -2 modifier in hunting can roll anything from -2 to 20, while a not-cat with a +5 modifer can roll from 5 to 20, approximately. A not-cat's stats and abilities cannot be permanently changed, but they can be altered with the use of equippable trinkets to make them perform better.
Daily weather, which can be viewed alongside a forecast
on the front page of the site, also affects a not-cat's job rolls. Bad weather such as rain, snow, strong wind, or fog can make outdoor-based jobs more difficult. So can extreme temperatures, be it very hot or very cold. The front page forecast is less accurate the further out it goes, so don't worry if it looks like a week straight of rain — it'll probably change!
With the Baker occupation unlocked, you also have the ability to feed your not-cats a Luncheon that gives them stat buffs for the day. While this will be more useful once adventuring is live, it can still buff your not-cats' job rolls. To take advantage of this, feed them
before gathering for the day. It's optional though, and many players don't bother to feed them every day if there's no weather modifier.
Scenarios
Scenarios are the 4th daily task listed in your profile. It turns green once completed.
Written by nap #61.
You get access to 1 scenario daily for every 3 cats you have; with just your first 6 cats, you get 2 daily scenarios, but the number rounds up as you gain more cats.
After starting a scenario, you're given a short write-up explaining what the cats are doing and 2 or 3 options to pick from to continue the interaction. Depending on what option you choose, you have a chance to receive: nothing, an item, or a relationship change. Item rewards give you one randomly selected item from a large pool- many different resources, decor, clothing, and trinkets are possible.
Relationship changes are a chance from some scenario options — they aren't guaranteed, unlike the item results which are guaranteed. If the scenario results in a relationship change, your cats will prompt you to confirm it. There is no decline option, but you can ignore the prompt if you don't want them to have that relationship!
If your cats are acquaintances (the default relationship between cats), there are two different relationship changes they can get:
- A
Relationship + makes them friends
- A
Relationship - makes them rivals
If your cats are already friends and they get a Relationship + result, the game randomly selects between Best Friends and Partners. Partners are then able to start a family of beans if they later get a Relationship + result!
Best Friends and Partners are both equally close relationships and will give your cats bonuses during adventuring (a future update). Friends give a slightly smaller bonus during adventuring, while Rivals
"only apply bonuses to the team if things are looking pretty dire." Until adventuring is complete and added to the game, Rivals and Best Friends don't affect your cats gameplay-wise.

Post Office
Visiting the Post Office is the 5th daily task listed in your profile. It turns teal once completed.
Before you send any cats travelling, the post office will often be empty. Without travelling cats, you'll only be receiving spam mail - sometimes containing a
trinket, or just text.
Through travelling cats's letters (called
traveller letters), they can correspond with cats in your village. They work like scenarios where they can bring relationships up or down, but you can't start a family of beans from letters. You'll need to bring the travelling cat back to get beans!
[Locked] Magic
Magic is the 6th daily task listed in your profile. It cannot be completed.
Written by nap #61.
As of yet, the 6th and the final daily icon does not have an associated activity! All we know is that it is magic-related, and that it'll be added at a later point after beta development has concluded.
