Have you ever wanted to know far too much about your not-cats at a glance?

You're in the right place!

This is a dynamic spreadsheet tool that you make a copy of, enter your not-cat information, and make your best choices from informed decisions with less manual tracking hassle.





This sheet provides:

• Cats tab: (Editable) Enter your not-cat information here. This information is mostly used on other tabs for calculations, but it also:
  
  
  1. Calculates stat totals
     
     
  2. [OPTIONAL] Color-codes various things so you're not just staring at a block of text.
     
     
  3. [OPTIONAL] Lets you see which jobs any particular not-cat is closest to leveling up
  
  
  
  
• Mayor tab: (Editable) Designate your village's Mayor so that your cats can have their stats boosted properly!
  
  
  
• Best per Individual tab: (Editable) Where most of the magic is. Here you can:
  
  
  1. Adjust for the day's weather and Luncheon, which will adjust total modifiers.
     
     
  2. Assign a not-cat a trinket, which will adjust total modifiers (also see the Trinket Helper tab)
     
     
  3. Set your not-cat's job for today, so you know who you've decided on already.
     
     
  4. See which owned trinket is best for each not-cat's job (also see the Trinkets Owned tab). This can be toggled off to reduce visual clutter.
     
     
  5. View every cat's highest modifier jobs for the day, either as a whole, only for jobs that are boosted by your day's particular Luncheon, or based on the job's location (indoor/outdoor). Each option can be toggled off individually to reduce visual clutter.
     
     
  6. Exclude any individual job from displaying. Handy for hiding jobs you have yet to unlock or aren't going to use, excluding them from clogging up your lists.
  
  
  
  
• Best per Job tab: (Automated) Displays all not-cats that are best at a particular job.
  
  
  
• Luncheon Helper tab: (Editable) Lets you quickly figure out the best luncheon for you needs and calculates how much of each ingredient is needed. Recipes can be filtered based on:
  
  
  1. Whether you own enough ingredients to cook it
     
     
  2. What seasons ingredients can be obtained in
     
     
  3. Which specific ingredient you want to use up
     
     
  4. The day job and/or adventuring boost it gives
  
  
  
  
• Trinket Helper tab: (Automated) Displays the modifiers that each of your not-cats would have if they had a particular trinket boost equipped. This is handy for checking at a glance whether that +1 Benevolence trinket actually boosts your stats or isn't worth the time to equip.
  
  The very last column of this tab also generates a handy chart that summarizes all this to put on your not-cat's page that looks like this:
  
  
• Trinkets Owned tab: (Editable) Check off the trinket boosts that you own items for, which will be used to determine the best trinket each cat could be using for their selected job.
  
  
• Selected Summary tab: (Automated) This shows you a condensed view of all the not-cats you've selected jobs for today, and who you have yet to assign. Also displays that not-cat's total modifier for these jobs.
  
  
• Job Search tab: (Editable) Quickly search for all jobs with a particular location, stat, or trait! Also displays any necessary job materials.
  
  
• Village Stats tab: (Automated) See an overview of how many cats you own of each wind, personality, and age, as well as how much food they're all eating at Luncheons and their average stat and personality trait values.

There's now a handy-dandy little quick ref chart that's generated in the last column of Trinket Helper on the blank copy- just edited a screenshot of what it looks like on a cat page into the post

Sheet has been updated to allow for more weather conditions!

To update your own copy without making a new version:

• In the Best per Individual tab, copy the code inside cell G3 of the blank copy and replace the code in your own cell G3 with it.
  
• Also in the Best per Individual tab, select cell K2 (the weather selecting cell), and go to Data > Data Validation in the top menu. Copy the text in the box that pops up into the same one in your own sheet.

That's it, you're good to go!

Also just added two tabs that I had made on my own version and forgotten about-

• Selected Summary tab: (Automated) This shows you a condensed view of all the cats you've selected jobs for today, and who you have yet to assign! Also displays the total day's modifiers for these jobs.
  
• Job Search tab: (Editable) Quickly search for all jobs with a particular location, stat, or trait! Also displays any necessary job materials.
  

These tabs can be added to your own sheet by clicking on the dropdown arrows on them and selecting Copy to > Existing Sheet and selecting your own sheet. The third tab, JobProperties, will have to be copied over first in order for the other two to function. It can then be hidden on your own version, as it only serves to aid calculations!

Added yet another feature

Added are the Trinkets Owned tab, where you can mark off the trinket boosts that you own items for, and a new piece of information on the Best per Individual tab, which uses the owned trinkets info to show you the best possible trinket to equip to each not-cat for their selected job. This additional info can also be toggled off using a new checkbox in the header of this tab in order to reduce visual clutter.

I would recommend creating a new copy of the spreadsheet, as the changes made would be extremely tedious to copy over into an existing version. If you don't feel the need to have the updates in the Best per Individual tab, however, then the Trinkets Owned tab can by itself also be copied over into your version of the sheet to serve as a personal reference.

Cats Tab
(editable)

The first tab is the Cats tab, where you can enter all your not-cat information. The blank copy includes a few not-cats as an example.

Here you can enter your not-cat ID numbers, names, age, personality, wind type, and points in both their traits and stats. A stat total is down in the column after the individual stat columns.

Not-cats will be color coded based on their wind type and personality, and their trait and stat values will be color coded based on the modifiers they grant to the associated not-cat. Wind type coloring will also show on on other tabs, such as the Best per Individual tab, in order to break up the long list of not-cats a little bit.



Scrolling to the right, you can also enter the job levels of each not-cat, which will be used in calculating how good each not-cat is at any given job.

To the right of these columns, there is a spot where you can copy and paste in the job experience details from your not-cat's page into column AL. This is optional and is not used in calculations, but will break up the text into the following columns to be easier to read and color code them based on whether a not-cat is between 0-25% (red), 25-50% (yellow), 50-75% (green), 75%+ (blue) along the way to their next level up for a given job.







Best per Individual Tab

This is where most of the magic happens on this sheet. Here you can view a sorted list of each not-cat's best job(s) in a variety of ways and select everyone's job for the day. many options can be toggled off to reduce visual clutter as well.

This tab displays total adjusted modifiers for jobs for each not-cat. It takes the base job skill and adds or subtracts to it using the current weather, luncheon, and trinket for each not-cat, which will change the modifiers for jobs shown on the right side of the tab.



In the left sidebar, you'll see your not-cats' IDs and names filled out. Just below this you can select a trinket to give to each one by selecting the polarity (positive or negative), boost value, and stat or trait being boosted by the trinket.

Below the trinket select will be a dropdown for job selection. The little box to the right of this will show that not-cat's modifier for the selected job. Below that little box will also display the best trinket you could equip to your not-cat for their selected job from among the trinkets you own (see the Trinkets Owned tab to mark the ones you have). A null (∅) symbol will display if no trinkets are owned that can boost that specific not-cat's selected job modifier. This trinket suggestion text can also be switched off to reduce visual clutter by checking off the checkbox at the far left of the options at the top of the tab.



The options at the top of the tab let you adjust the day's modifiers and sort the jobs shown to you in various ways.

The Weather and Luncheon options are just what they say- they let you select how the weather is for the day and what luncheon you fed your not-cats, if any. If the weather is clear or your not-cats were not fed any luncheon, these can be set to either a dash (-) or the text inside deleted.

The Sort options let you choose to view up to three different sorting methods for your not-cats' best jobs, shown to their right. Each of these options can also be toggled off to reduce visual clutter.

• Best of All will display all jobs, sorted by their highest to lowest modifiers.
  
  
• Luncheon Advantage will display jobs by highest to lowest modifiers, but only for jobs that receive a +2 or greater from the day's luncheon. This lets you focus on taking advantage of that extra boost!
  
  
• Outdoor/Indoor will display jobs by highest to lowest modifiers, but shows jobs that take place outdoors (in orange) before jobs that take place indoors (blue). This lets you focus on taking advantage of good outdoor weather.

The Unlocked Jobs options lets you turn off jobs that you have yet to unlock from showing up in any of the sorting options, which prevents them from cluttering your jobs lists when you do not have access to that job.





Best per Job Tab
(automated)

This tab shows a quick overview of which not-cats are the best for each job and what their modifiers for that job is, taking into account weather, luncheon, and selected trinket.







Luncheon Helper Tab
(editable)

This tab helps you figure out which Luncheon you'd like to give your not-cats for the day.

By copy+pasting the text from your inventory Resources pages 1, 2, and 3 into cells C4, C5, and C6, this page will highlight the Luncheons that you have enough ingredients for.

You can view all Luncheons, regardless of ingredients owned, by toggling on the "ALL" option in cell C7. A red highlight will accompany any Luncheon you cannot currently prepare due to lack of ingredients.

You can also filter Luncheons based on the boosts they provide by toggling the stat options in cells C9 through C15.

Everything to the right of the pasting and toggle options is automated.







Trinket Helper Tab
(automated)

This tab displays, at a glance, what each of your not-cats' trait and stat modifiers could be if they were given a particular trinket boost. This can aid in purchasing trinkets, selling those that are not useful to you, or planning ahead for jobs in the future based on a not-cat's potential.



The very last column of this tab will also generate a code that you can paste into your not-cats' bio for a quick reference of the trinkets that are useful to them. Once you have filled out a not-cat's traits and stats on the Cats tab, you can copy and paste this directly into their bio. A null (∅) symbol indicates that no trinket exists that can boost that particular not-cat's trait or stat any higher.

Trinkets Owned Tab
(editable)

This tab lets you select the trinket boosts that you own items for. This is used to display each not-cat's best trinket for their selected job on the Best per Individual tab, but can also serve as a personal reference for purchase and sale decisions.







Selected Summary Tab
(automated)

This tab shows a condensed view of all the not-cats that you have either selected or not selected a job for yet, ordered by job. It lets you view at a glance how many not-cats are performing a certain job, which not-cats are doing that job, and their modifiers for that job. Not-cats without a selected job will appear at the bottom of this list.







Job Search Tab
(editable)

This tab lets you search for jobs based on their required stat, trait, or indoor/outdoor location, and also displays the materials each of these jobs requires to perform. This can be useful for taking a glance at all jobs based on location when the weather is good or bad, or for looking at jobs to focus on to take full advantage of your day's luncheon boosts.

Fixed an issue where Young Kittens were given an error and could not be assigned their Tiny Adventurer job.

To fix this in your own copy:

1. Unhide the hidden sheet called "Data Validations" by clicking on the hamburger menu icon next to your list of tabs and selecting it.
   
   
2. From the blank spreadsheet, locate this same tab (which I've made visible for now), click the arrow on this tab, and select Copy to > Existing spreadsheet. Select your personal version of the sheet.
   
   
3. There should now be a tab labeled "Copy of Data Validation" in your own personal copy. Select rows G1 to BC1 and paste them over the top of these same cells in the non-copy version of the tab.
   
   
4. Delete the copy tab and re-hide "Data Validations" by clicking on the arrow on the tab and selecting Hide sheet. You're good to go!

Another new feature! This one helps you figure out which Luncheon you want for the day, and can tell you which ones you have the ingredients for by copy+pasting in your inventory Resource pages!



This update is a tad finicky to transfer, but if you would like to integrate it into your current sheet copy:

• On the blank sheet, click on the arrow on the Luncheon Helper tab and select Copy to > Existing spreadsheet. Select your personal copy. Do this again for the Luncheon Ingredients tab.
  
  
• Rename these tabs to remove the "Copy of" in front of their names.
  
  
• On PCE, Copy+paste your inventory's info from the Resource subsection on the Luncheon Helper tab into cells C4, C5, and C6 of your personal sheet copy.
  

On your personal sheet copy, take a look at the Luncheon Ingredients tab. If the far right column (column S) is all zeros, then you'll also need to do the following steps:

• At the top of the page, select Data > Named ranges. A sidebar should pop up on the right side of your spreadsheet.
  
  
• Search the list for the items named 'Luncheon Helper'!ResourcesPg1, 'Luncheon Helper'!ResourcesPg2, and 'Luncheon Helper'!ResourcesPg3. Delete them.
  
  
• If there are also items in the list named ResourcesPg1, ResourcesPg2, and ResourcesPg3, select them and set their cells to be 'Luncheon Helper'!$C$4, 'Luncheon Helper'!$C$5, and 'Luncheon Helper'!$C$6 respectively. If these items don't exist, then make new ones with these names and same cell references.
  
  
• In the Luncheon Ingredients tab, delete the code in cell S3 and then paste the following code into it:

• Copy the entire cell S3 (not the text inside) and select cells S4 through S34 (the end of the column). Paste the copied cell.
  
  
• Any tabs with a black color label are used for background calculation purposes only and can now be hidden by clicking the arrow on the tab and selecting Hide sheet

You should be good to go after that! Let me know if you have any issues getting it set up and I'll be happy to fix up the sheet on your copy.

Quick fix for an issue at least some users are experiencing regarding copy+pasting of inventory for the Luncheon Helper adding in alt text and breaking the parser.

This is corrected on the blank sheet, but to update your own copy:

1. On the blank copy, click on the black Luncheon Ingredients tab and select Copy to > Existing spreadsheet. Select your own sheet copy.
   
   
2. If you've hidden the Luncheon Ingredients tab on your own copy, unhide it.
   
   
3. On the copied tab (copy of Luncheon Ingredients), select cells S3 through S34 and hit CTRL+C
   
   
4. Select these same cells in your own Luncheon Ingredients tab and hit CTRL+P
   
   
5. Go ahead and hide that tab again and delete the copy tab. You should be good to go!
