Apologies if this has been asked already.

Do we have any information on if the parents' stats affect the offsprings' final stats?
Likewise, do we have any information on if the parents' personality affects the offsprings' personality?

I've started logging data, but only have my first set of bio-beans, barely a week old. So it'll be a while till I know anything. Is anyone else looking into this or who'd like to start?

Parents only influence stats by a couple of points if they both swing in one direction. For example, having a bean's parents have 7 and 11 respectively in a stat, the bean could still have a high stat, but it wouldn't be as high as it would be if the parents had a higher value, if that makes sense.

To illustrate this a little bit better: let's say the bean's parents have a 7 and 11 in Strength. The bean once grown up has 18 Strength. If the parents' Strength stat was higher, the bean's Strength stat would also be a couple points higher. Note that these values are all pulled from my head so they may not necessarily be truthful, but it kinda shows what I'm talking about, haha.

Another thing is that offsprings' final weight falls within the range of the parents'. So parents who are 7lbs and 12lbs can only have beans who weigh between 7-12lbs.

Thank you so much! That's more-or-less what i figured, but its good to have confirmation :) It definitely adds another layer to breeding that I don't mind. Squid never ceases to amaze me.
