So I, like some of you, may have a tiny problem

And it is that all of your not-cats need to have Warrior Cats names.
And online Warrior Cat name generators aren't always the best.

So I made one!

With 770+ name prefixes and 360+ name suffixes currently, there's surely something for your cat!




What is a PCE-inspired Warrior Cat name?
In short, each clan has always had names unique to them that reflect the sorts of environments they live in and concepts they encounter (e.g. species of fish in Riverclan names, agricultural plant names for Windclan, which is near more farms). PCE not-cats have a lot of things around them that normal cats don't have! Like.. bricks! And blacksmithing! Names like this have been included in this generator, and suggestions for more are encouraged!



This sheet allows you to:

A quick name generation example.
Here the option to generate only names with a prefix starting with the letter "R" is selected. Suffix syllables are set to be filtered and the suffix syllable count set to one.

this might actually be helpful for an urban warriors setting wo've been making with wirf friends, ty!

@mime you might enjoy the updates I'm hoping to implement, then! hopefully can finish up my work on getting a syllable, category, and seasonal name sort!

It looks like an accidental edit on roughly December 15th broke the name generation- I've gone in and reverted the sheet back to the working version, everything should be working smoothly again.

The name generator now has syllable count functionality!

You can now specify how many syllables the prefixes and/or suffixes will have in the generated names. Good for when you want a somewhat wordy prefix but need a short suffix or if it has to sound just so

so sorry but the first simble buttone is gone and wont come back

Just wanted to tell you this is really cool! I'm working on my own warriors-themed naming system too! Great work on the name lists and the generator itself!
