got myself some sunflowers to make a love letter collection for bounce & dapple and fed them a catmint tea, and now they're expecting a litter of 3 beans a week from now!! see you back in a week-- there's a ~57% probability that at least one of the beans is solid :]

nestor has given me a brand-new solid-carrying beast!! this is eyes:



underneath that albino, they're a brown or orange tortie-- doesn't matter which, they carry a copy of both brown and orange so they'll be passing on either-- and they also carry dilute! density level 2 makes them quite versatile. if I can pair them up with a density level 1 solid-carrying cat, that'll cover the last remaining colors that I don't have a pair of partners for (brown, tan, and apricot).

sidenote: not sure what it is that makes nestor keep giving me solid-carrying albinos, but I'm not complaining!! more solid carriers are always good and it's always an extra fun little challenge to test their genetics.

Oh that is a Very nice cat! Hopefully you get some good solids from that one (and albinos!)

it's arrival day for bounce and dapple's beans!!! wooo!!!....none of them are solid. D:

the randomly generated name scheme they were born with is extremely cute though!! and all 3 carry solid, at least. plus cat's end beans are just SO adorable.

and then fed them both a catmint tea ^^; crow carries dilute, and in my excitement i didn't realize that i'd miscategorized talon on my organizational forum post at the beginning of the thread, and talon does NOT carry dilute. oh well!! guess this upcoming batch of beans will all be full color :-)

oh, looks like we've got a similar quest! nestor keeps giving me solids so i figured i might as well start collecting haha. i wish you luck on your recent beans!!
