ok, so!!! it is rapidly approaching the day when my new chocolate pair, dapple and licorice, are out of their cooldown and can both be given tea. (licorice’s cooldown is over, but dapple’s ends in 3 days.)



however!!! yesterday, I used a business card and got this little solid carrying friend!!!



his name is thor & he is actually an excellent candidate to replace dapple? since both dapple and licorice carry dilute, there’s a 25% chance that any solid cat they produce will be grey, which would be really annoying because I already have a grey solid. thor doesn’t, so they would fix that! plus they have some of the new white markings, which is cool.

actually, I’m talking myself into it as I type :P they’re now expecting 3 beans!!

it's time for even more expected beans!!!! (i'll have 1 more set to update the thread about tomorrow.)

yesterday was my birthday, so I used a business card as a little kitty gift to myself, and got this guy!!



She's awesome and I'm obsessed with her all on her own but they ARE also a density 4 solid carrier, so I figured y'know. Why not add them to the project? So I'm pairing her up with Autumn, who I snagged from the recruitment board today!!



Ae is a solid carrier & a dilute carrier as well, so there's a completely equal chance of getting a solid of any of the density 4 colors :-)

Aw geez, they're also expecting 3 beans.. I should have planned this out better because I still have to tea Bounce and Viola tomorrow and there's not gonna be any room in my village..... That's okay, I'll figure it out :]

Very quick update: Bounce and Viola are now expecting 2 beans!! Wow, eight expected beans total. I’d say something about the chances of multiple of them being solids but that would jinx me.

Next up is Feather x Tiny, but since they’ve got the full range of color density 3 colors & cream is the only one I still need, I might retire them and buy 2 cream solid carriers? Not sure yet!!

New cat update: meet Silver and Amethyst!!

I grabbed them from the Cat Recruitment Board a couple days ago because cream is the only density 3 solid I’m missing, & there’s a lack of pairs that can produce density 1-2 dilutes! It just made sense.

Anyway, their first litter was born today!! 2 patterned kitties, and…. a beige solid!!!

It’s super funny to me that the other two are trade winds with white markings, both things that give solid cats some amount of patterning, and yet Madeline is standard with no white. Ha!

WOAH! nestor gave me another solid!!

I have my screen brightness down really low rn so I didn’t even realize he was a solid until I checked his profile, but yup!!! there he is!!! this has got to be a good omen for the next, early April batch of beans :-)

No solids, but I'm waiting on 2 more expected beans in a couple days, so fingers crossed for them?

Quill & Vanora’s beans arrived today!! They’re special because they’re the first 3rd gen beans in this project, or, indeed, my first 3rd gen cats :-) They’re a pair of adorable solid chocolate twins, and even though the color isn’t quite what I was hoping for since I already have a chocolate solid, they ARE very cute!!

I’ve been using business cards like mad in hopes of getting a solid cat from one of them, and last night it finally happened!! Ahhh!!! This is Simon:

It’s very funny to me that I’ve only got 2 other first generation solids at the moment, and one of them is also orange….

I’ll probably send them traveling for now, but I thought I’d post here about them anyway.
