How long did it take you to finish your first run of heart of the woods and defeat shadow of nestor? It took me less then a day and only 1 try (no restarts) and I was very surprised when I started reading around how it took other people multiple runs to defeat him. Guess I was just lucky?

I think I also beat him during my first run and try! Granted, I did the runs day-by-day.

Notably because back then (first, alongside some days after Adventuring was launched), it was possible to shoot SoN with arrows outside of the wooden arena. Was quite bummed when the bug was fixed.

On a same topic, as for this moment I've lost to SoN once. RNG didn't want to help me that day, and I was a bit miffed when such happened.

I think it was my second or third try (I don't remember if I reset a second time) because on my first try one of my cats died

It took me one try to beat Shadow of Nestor once I actually reached him, but I did many runs of Adventuring itself to train before making it to him. I'm not sure how long I took exactly? But enough that I had a level 3 Fighter, and with all the cats in my party able to use Bite to make battles quicker.

1 try?? I had to wait until all my cats had bite before I could get far enough. Only then were they able to defeat the enemies without getting defeated themselves in just stage 3.
I don't know how many tries it took, maybe 5? 6? I'm just surprised it's even possible to get through with only level 1 cats!

it took me several runs to actually get there but i did beat them first try once i got there!!

First run! I think having cats with some decent stats really helps when you're starting out.

first try but that may have been before the harmony bug was patched, and I've been playing long enough that I had plenty of bolts and healing items ready to go

1st try! tho i did lose like half my adventurin cats along the way
