It would be nice to have the option to lock the poses of offspring preview since the sleeping and playing poses hide whether or not they have white lockets. I keep pondering if RNG would decide to make all no-white offspring in those poses when I test a locket-white parent.

Support for the stated reasons—I run into this (small) issue myself regularly when determining my kittens genes! It would be a nice QoL update!

It would also be nice to be able to lock them into kitten and older (or adult only). I find it really hard to see the small predictions when testing a pair. My eyesight is pretty bad and often goes blurry at random. While the latter is very much a me problem, generally poor eyesight is common enough to where I think age locking could be beneficial alongside this.
