Can we have alternative options for certain building requiring leaves? Like different leaves change what the building looks like?

Idk I feel like it might help with making things easier for new players unable to get large leafs yet finding an abundance to alternative large leafs.

We actually already have that!
, , and are all the same recipe with only the leaves differing. The middle one uses winter leaves and the right one uses autumn leaves. There are similar variants of the libraries and barns that use the winter/autumn leaves as well, on pages 2-3 of the builder’s items.

I’d like to suggest flower garlands! Can be found by gardener/herbalist or maybe crafted by the apothecary or artist. Perhaps a pond so we can use water features beyond the lake, crafted by the mason
