@Alphazi Clearing your cache basically clears out all the site content that is saved to your computer. Basically, if I update something on my end, you might not be able to see it because your computer is using the saved version instead of looking for the up-to-date one. Usually this is good because it saves you data, but when I make changes to certain files (like images and formatting), this also means you won't see them. If I make significant changes like during an update, things might look super broken until you clear your cache.
A hard refresh is basically just forcing your browser to clear your cache but just on that page. You can do that on PC with ctrl-F5. Not sure about macs.

And yeah I've looked into some alternatives to adsense. Working with hiveworks is like the go-to dream for independent artists, which consequently means it's extremely difficult to get into their network. They've not even had submissions open in ages. I spotted a couple ad networks that don't do any data collecting which is an interesting concept, but most of them are brand new so I'm not sure how effective they'd be.
