Different colors of spotting, maybe? Just different color variants of the spotting we have now, such as black and red.

Just a few random ideas I came up with:

• Snake cats/tatzelwurms. Pretty much a snake with a cat's upper half instead of a snake head. I think it'd be neat!
  
• Not-manticores. They're sort of manticores, but with cat heads instead of people heads.
  
• Turtle cats. Cats... with turtle shells.
  
• Zombie cats. They're cats... but they have part of their skeletons on the outside.
  
• Lizard cats. Cats... with lizard tails/back ridges.

I dunno if this has been suggested, but what about torties/tri-colors where the main color is heavily favored? for example a black tortie with little nicks of red along their pelt rather than big shared patches.

A cat who's coat changes dramatically depending on the season? (like arctic fox winter coat vs summer coat)

Seconding Moth-cats, ticked coats, Sallin's coat ideas, and the ability to flip not-cats in scene editor. Everybody's ideas look great to me lol.

Maybe for a third 'normal' not-cat body type there could be a taller not-cat. Like a dobby cat/oriental shorthair.

This might be too close to ascended cats, but I think Seraph cats could be interesting! Instead of having big wings, they'd have wings for ears that cover their eyes (or not, if that's too hard to make look good) and little wings near their paws! Maybe some tail feathers too? Either replacing the tail or added onto the tail.

And as for something a bit less imaginative, I'd love to see the Karpati mutation added! It could be a variation of white, since Colorpoint is like that here, and this seems to be temperature based just like Colorpoint is.

Also loving the bug cat ideas I've seen scattered here, they look so fun!

I have seen it a few times but I just want to throw my hat in and show interest as well for visibly disabled cats… missing eyes/ears/tail but also especially the ability to have maybe a missing paw optional, even if it was only one or two at a time (in the case of alchemy or a free selector like poses and eyes) would be so so nice visible disabilities (esp limbs) are Not common in pet sites at all, somewhat understandably given the clipping issues they can cause, but I at least would be so so willing to sacrifice being able to use a few pieces of clothing that look silly/off on certain poses/cats even just for a few invisible limb options. Eyes too would be amazing (though at this point I should just suggest patches haha)

ALSO I know this would cause issues with some pieces of clothing but it’s another situation in which I at least would rather only be able to use certain pieces in certain poses as opposed to not having the option at all….

Pinned or relaxed ears!! I think that having a third simple cosmetic option aside from pose and eyes would add SO much personality to each individual cat! I am thinking relaxed ears (a little to the side, not very different from the current ears) as well as pinned ears >:V bitey mode! The current/standard ears could be ‘alert’ ears perhaps, that’s what they look like to me haha.

I think that even those three options would add a lot of variance to how the kitties could emote… there’s already a lot of feelings you can invoke with pose/eye combinations but I think it would be so neat to have a third layer to that as well as it’s one of the primary ways cats normally show emotion

Bouncing off of that, I think having even just two tail options for each pose (relaxed and alert?) would be very fun. Maybe also fluffy for fighty notcats.

grey blue and black legs&tail please!

I'd love to see some breeds like scottish folds and bobtail cats (I'm pretty sure the folds were already mentioned somewhere, but I'd still love them)! For more fantasy breeds, a patchwork doll cat would be adorable!! All stitched up and made of fabric scraps, which people could make some fun lore with especially since we have crafting and sewing and stuff.
