This thread is my running to-do list of bugs, oversights, and small QOL or game-balancing changes. It's primarily for my own organizational purposes, but can be useful to others to know what's already been reported.
The date in the thread name will be updated whenever a new bug fix post is added to the thread.
I make no promises regarding the timelines of the stuff on this list. Although these are things I really want to fix, remember that I am one person and I work full time outside of this game (and sometimes the stuff I want to do just... doesn't end up working or I can't figure out how to make it happen). This list is not all-encompassing, and I do keep a separate list behind-the-scenes of stuff I am monitoring and contemplating, especially larger issues that aren't quick fixes.

Bugs
- Wrangling the one and only error log of doom (like a herding dog trying to herd a fire-breathing dragon)


Cats, Scenes, and Village
Bugs
- Clipping problem with cats and their clothes in scene decorate
- Item order when dressing a cat and first adding an item is STILL weird
- Clicking the label on the remove from scene side of all tabs in scene decoration doesn't check the box
- Profile preview is slightly wider/different from actual profile page
- Objects in scenes placed on the edge cover up the border line
- Mayor information loads in kind of wacky when you first choose a mayor (Mayor bottom information is flexing horizontally making weirdly squished text) - This same issue is happening on the manage specialty positions page
- Some devices allow users to drag images within their frames ????
- Specialty position bonuses seem to be slightly incorrect in the selection screen
- Cat reorganization sorts by ID when two cats are given the same number value instead of prioritizing changes made.
- Personalities aren't included in the base stat change option
Changes
- A button to compile cats so they can be saved or copy/pasted directly without the EYE ARRAY
- When items start to build up, the looooong lists of all clothing or such start to become unmanageable. Add search box to filter said lists wherever lists appear, also search box on inventory. Maybe some drop-down sort-order options.
- Image preview for clothing/decor/buildings when decorating cats and scenes
- No eyes baby jail for Nestor image on the profile rainbow icons, impact location, unborn beans
- Travel cooldown time indicator for the profile page of traveling cats
- Horizontal Flip Cats
- Button to purchase cats from their profiles when they are listed
- Cats breadcrumb on cat pages takes you to the page the cat is on
- Arrow keys to navigate collectables categories
- Storing items in safekeeping should return you to the page you started on in move mode instead of taking you to safekeeping, etc.


Daily Activities
Bugs
- The width of the option displayed after you click one in Social Scenarios stays short which looks kind of funky at the end of the interaction.
- Beans (and cats for sale/trade) result in pages in gather resources with less cats on them than others, or even blank pages
- Escaping dropdown when kittens show up at nestor
- Opening a new letter doesn't close the previous letter
- The text on the notes on the post office bulletin board escapes, especially on mobile devices with a larger minimum font size
- Cat's name shows as the old name on gather resource flavortext after name change
- If you leave a scenario unfinished and continue on, then go back to finish it, clicking an option will take you to the last scenario and not the one that you selected an option for
- Issue with max scenarios
- Foods in luncheon are rounding to 0 required when less than 6 cats are had.
- Cats that have the travel weary condition do not clear out the results from the last time they gathered, so these are visible/displayed
- Student showing up weirdly at the top on adolescent job select screen
- Daily scenario pagination didn't get onto the pagination code and so doesn't have key controls
Changes
- Allow to filter luncheon and crafts by recipes you can actually make
- Allow to craft multiple of the same item at once
- Tiered age priorities where older and younger kittens will play before kittens and adults


Shops, Sales, Inventory, and Trades
Bugs
- Sales receipt formatting is still a bit funky, especially if you sell 1000+ of an item
- Quantity to sell box shrinks when you click an item to sell from the boxes (user sales/trades) and then grows again after you list the stuff
- If you have too much of an item, it gets cut off in the dropdown in quick sales
- Cancel trade button escaping on trades button & trades in general weird on mobile
- Item names at Whiskers Wares escape the box when particularly long
- Blocking is checked after pulling page numbers, leading to (I think this is the cause of it) pages with less listings than others on occasion.
- If you and another user are both at max cats, you can't trade cats.
- Items with apostrophes can't be searched as everything after is being deleted
- Too long item name words in quicksales get cut off (eg watermeowlon)

Changes
- Add more items to private trades
- Allow to send message with completion of trade or acceptance of gift
- Move trade cancel button so it doesn't overlap the trade or gift dropdown causing accidental cancels
- Cancel all expired & relist all
- Search and categories in the gardenhome shops
- Select all / deselect all for quicksale checkboxes


Intro Sequence & Sign-up
Bugs
- Intro sequence, falling out of the sky initially displays with the wrong minimum width making it run off the side of the page
- Some browsers are not displaying the date field correctly (safari?), causing the database to reject the sign-up and redirect to a blank page
- Personality bars are misaligned with labels in archetype select page


Forums, Messages, Comments, BBCode
Bugs
- Editing a forum post doesn't bring you back to that post
- Profile comments getting cut off at the bottom / not lining up
- Signatures getting cut off on mobile when there is text due to the max height
- Long links on mobile escape to the right
- Quotes can't nest without a title added
- User images sit a lot higher than catmojis (which set centered on the line vs above the line)
- URLs not formatting as urls when pasted without the link code
- If your avatar cat is out of your village, the image in the top right of the site and your profile pic in the forums will link to the owner of the cat rather than you
- Deleting a post that would move to the new page makes pagination in notifications weird
- Code tags nested into other bbcode interrupt it and cause it to not display
- bold, italic, strike through, subscript, and superscript tags do not nest with the span tags
- All notifications get marked as read if they overflow onto page 2
- If text inside code tags is too long, it messes up the page
- Missing bit of tag causes html/css to show up as text
- Pronouns field character limit is a little too low
- urls with an @ in them break the url code by pinging users
- Issue with duplicate forum subscriptions
- Delete, bump, etc. buttons are moving around when using a device that overrides button CSS to make buttons round (looking at u iphones), makes it easy to misclick buttons
- Quote tags with a missing rightside bracket break the entire page and cause it to display horizontally
- - Similar issue with tables
- The header on forum tables still looks like you can click it to sort the columns, but this functionality wasn't added to the forums, so the header needs to be updated here.
- Old threads can't be posted in after the date update as it is using original post instead of last post 3/26/23
- Pings and subscription notifications lead to the wrong page when the user posting's access level does not match the access level of the person being contacted
Changes
- Link to private trade/gift on profile & in forums
- Pixel art image tag so pixel art uploaded by users can also not blur
- Link to block settings in account settings
- BBCode for hide/unhide dropdown content
- Table bbcode needs a button but there's Not Space right now, will need to reconfigure situation


Sandbox
Bugs
- Inputting the watercolour or tortoiseshell pattern on a snow coloured cat in the sandbox results in just seeing the eyes. (This combination doesn't exist, so it should give an error of some kind.)
- Buildings not disappearing when cleared in scene sandbox
- Sandbox rearranging overwrites content like this
- Item duplication in sandbox
- Input boxes don't line up in scene sandbox
- In scene sandbox, it's possible to place decor in building slots and buildings in decor slots and doing so leads to broken items that can't be placed properly.
- Fixed lingering broken links under "craftable item" link in item database 3/26/23
Changes
- Allow to filter by season, and other stuff??
- Randomization option for cats!
- Link on cat/scene profile to import to sandbox
- Clean up ability database so can allow front-facing adventuring ability database with visuals of range and other information


Adventuring
Bugs
- Edit party / adding cats is being weird.
- Cats cannot have their classes removed
- Apostrophes in ability descriptions (and names) display as html code instead of apostrophes
- Leveling up through skill challenges doesn't list what ability you've unlocked
- If your first ability in the list doesn't have the required materials, the auto-focus doesn't work
- Viewing cats' information in the between encounters page does not show the correct level
- Scouts just "teleport" instead of moving when using the sprint ability
- HP penalty for weather is not applied when battle is generated on the between encounters page, leading to them spawning in at normal max health
- The skill challenge 3rd option 4th cat is escaping the box
- Skills like Rally are letting you go through with using them even if there are no potential targets
- [#] pronoun code is not resolving in skill challenge
- Double shot still broken but in a more different way
- Going to adventure location select with no cats in the party leads to blank page
- Conditions are applied before bonuses and modifications for attacks, so they are not being applied when the natural stat is at 1 die
- Clicking multiple tiles that require different kinds of skill checks when deciding where to go leads to duplicate checkbox options
- Range targeting is still not perfectly symmetrical
- The map with the tree at the bottom leads to monsters backing themselves into the corners and causes issues with parties with no range, AI fix likely more longterm solution than moving the tree
- Cats with really long names make the dice stretchy.
- The checkboxes for items that boost skill challenges are showing up even if the item isn't currently owned
- Snacks on the snack menu are unsorted / displaying according to the database's whims

- Ability to rearrange abilities
- Change adventuring class select to a radio button to help fix the sometimes not fully registering the change

Other / Miscellaneous
Bugs
- Clicking to expand/collapse a top nav menu makes it so that hover no longer works/shows it
- Item search field key controls not working (submit, etc.)
- On the mobile layout, the navbar dropdown links are only clickable on the text, not the entire box.
- On the top bar, navbar not-dropdown links are only clickable on the text, not the entire box
- Theme getting forgotten on occasion
- - - Background is remembered separately on www.pixelcatsend vs just pixelcatsend, so if you forget the www. things get weird
- Sometimes mobile connections that may be slower are dropping images
- One mail provider (gmx.de & gmx.net & related addresses) is rejecting emails from the domain for mysteryreasons
- Formatbar sometimes disappearing
- Unusual page escaping
- The Mysterious Missing Captcha
- Error message on username field for login is on the same line rather than a new line, pushing things over
