I have a few friends who have been stalking the forum after missing the last registration window and they’re super excited about the new event and want to know if they’d have a chance to participate. Last year there seem to had been a May registration window, so just wanting to ask for them if there’d be a May one this year too! Thank you!!

This is speculation since I am not Squid, however, I don't think there will be a registration window before Snowmelt as it overlaps with their vacation. Registration windows are a huge task, so it's probably not gonna be something they're gonna want to do while taking a break!

We're also in the middle of winter, with Snowmelt marking the first week of spring. Joining during winter is pretty rough and has been avoided, so while the last couple of days aren't too bad, having to go through a couple of weeks would not be fun.

@Nae That was, in fact, part of what worried them (and caused me to ask here) after seeing the announcement today. That totally makes sense and is understandable though! I also didn't consider the winter difficulties when thinking about this either, that was a good point, even as a player few months in I find winter time hard to endure with the flower prices xD.
