have you ever wondered what day your nestor-cat was born? can't remember what in-game day you acquired your cat, but you wrote the IRL date down somewhere? unsure what in-game date your join date correlates with? wanna know when your birthday will happen in-game? i've got a sheet for that to help you out!

i was looking at my cat's birthdays and started to wonder when those dates actually happened on an IRL calendar. since in-game days are 1:1 with real life days, i realized i could just list out day by day which day was associated with which in-game day. and so, this chart was born!

i've made a list of all IRL dates corresponding to in-game dates! each tab is one in-game year, encompassing the four seasons of each year. each season has two columns: the in-game date, and the corresponding IRL date it matches!

here's an example to see how this works: today's IRL date as of posting this guide is May 11th, 2022, and the in-game date is Spring 4, Year 6. if you look at the year 6 page, and look for 5/11/22, you'll see it's matched with Spring 4!

to find a corresponding date, choose which year you want to look up, then ctrl+F (cmd+F on mac) the date you want!

• PCE dates are written as Season #. so to search for Spring 4, Year 6, click the Year 6tab and search for Spring 4 to find the date!
  
• IRL dates are written as MM/DD/YY (more specifically (M)M/(D)D/YY). by this i mean that i did not include 0s preceding numbers less than 10; for example, to search for May 11th, 2022, click a tab and search for 5/11/22! (if a date doesn't show up, it's probably in another year!)

i've included everything from Year 1 to Year 10 for the time being - everything that's happened until now, and a couple in-game years into the future so this should cover things for a while!

at the back of the spreadsheet i have a WIP calculator that i'm hoping to include at some point; the plan is to be able to input a date, and have the corresponding date show up! the list was originally going to be a database to reference, but then i realized i didn't have the time/brain to figure out the calculator right now, oops but i hope to get that functional at some point! (in fact, if anyone has any idea how to get that to work, i would love help!)

at the very least, the list of dates should be useful in the meantime, so i thought i'd post now if anyone has any suggestions on how to make it (or this post) easier to read/use, please let me know - i'm totally open to suggestions!

one idea i had was to put all PCE:IRL dates in one tab, with columns for every in-game year rather than for every year's seasons. it'd make it longer and bulkier, but it'd keep all the dates in one place, which would make it easier to search by IRL date. not sure if that's any better though i'll consider this in the future when i can think more about it lol
