Cat's End Artist/Developer
Hope all of you are enjoying your cat time!
New Buildings
The artist and apothecary workstations are now craftable at the builder's. An assortment of cottages without windows has also been added, in case you needed more wall space to cram full of paintings.
New Decor
Artists can now craft an assortment of paintings and pottery.
New Gear
Craftable gear is now available in a variety of different crafting categories. You can't use it yet, but you'll be able to in the future when adventuring happens.
New Snacks!
Snacks will be usable items between encounters in adventuring that restore health. They can be crafted at the baker's station, and will also begin dropping when performing the baker occupation in gathering.
Upcoming Specialty Item
After adventuring, you'll be able to make your not-cats start a family with the Catmint Tea item.
New Resources
Poisonous mushrooms can now be harvested by herbalists in spring, summer, and autumn. Limestone can be gathered by miners all year round.
Status of Adventuring
I have two weeks off work here soon (December 18th - January 2nd) and my goal for this period is to put about 6-8 hours a day into adventuring during the entirety of that time. I expect to have significant progress towards adventuring (ideally where it is in a testable state) by early January.
Bug Fixes and Small Changes
- The text limit for forum posts, profiles, and bios has been significantly raised.
- Niblings are no longer called siblings when generating new beans.
- Some kittens are no longer forbidden from making friends with the friend making item
- Apothecary now lets you use Wintermint as expected
