This is the main thread for planning for the Welcome Weekend Giveaway!



Welcome Weekend is a giveaway program that is open to new players during open registration. Normally this means giving new players supplies to make a bonfire to unlock the luncheon daily activity plus food supplies for their first bonfire meal, along with a small raffle!


Donate your time
We always need volunteers! Volunteers help out by giving out bonfire supplies during the registration period, and recording who has been given supplies on the current google sheet. This is our biggest need every opening, and even just giving out one or two goodie bags helps out both the other volunteers, and new players get supplies ASAP!

Do you accept not-cats, decor, clothing, ect.?
Sometimes! As the raffle is not the main focus of the giveaway, raffle prizes are usually limited to only a few "raffle bundles" with cats, decor, ect., and the supplies for them are usually gathered in house! If you have interest in running the raffle section of the giveaway however please feel free to reach out!

How do I use the spreadsheets?
If you are a donator, simply put the amount of supplies donated in either the luncheon (red meat, poultry, fish) or bonfire (sticks, wooden planks, rocks, clay) tab. Then put your name next to the supplies and which volunteer you donated the supplies to in parenthesis, for example HuoMogu(Eclipse). Don't worry if you forget to record your name in the sheet, as the volunteer you donated too will do it for you if you forget!

If you are a volunteer, do the above steps for recording supplies you are donating to the giveaway. To record goodie bags, go to the bag claim tab, then put your name under "volunteer" and the person you are giving the bag to under "claimed user". Please put the claimed user's ID# if possible, in case they change their username later. Then record the type of food sent under "food", and mark yes under "bag sent?" after you have finished sending the goodie bag!
