I wanted to find an answer to a question I asked ages ago, but when I clicked it in my post history, it sent me to the start of the thread. Which wouldn't be a problem, if the thread wasn't Tiny Little Questions. Which also wouldn't be a problem if Tiny Little Questions didn't have 331 pages. What I'm getting at here's that how the post history works right now makes it really hard to find posts in big threads, which seems kinda counter-productive to me

So, all I'm proposing's that the post history links to exact posts instead, like the kinda links that the "Copy Link" button gives you

Mine leads me to the exact post. Could you give an example of what link you're clicking and on what post? This might belong in bug reports!

Oh, you're right. Some of them link right and some don't. That's... kinda weird.

This was the post I was looking for, and here's another post that doesn't link right either. I got both of these with the "copy link" button... and here are the same pages, 1 and 2, with the "reply=#" thing that the post history links use.

To me it looks like it only happens to posts that aren't on the first page? I dunno though, I'm no expert.

AH yes, some of mine are also off - i used inspect element to check, and it seems like they should link directly to the reply, but don't. I'm going to submit a forum report to hopefully get this thread moved to the right place (bug forums) since I don't see it on the known bugs list! Some of mine on page 2 and beyond do link to the right place, so I'm not sure it's related to pagination.

I did some digging at it looks like notifications include the page=number in the link, but the forum history doesn't
