Do you like SPREADSHEETS? I love spreadsheets! I especially love making a spreadsheet when I play any game ever so I made a not-cat spreadsheet template that anyone can use!



Template is here! Colours and such are all automatic but I can't guarantee it'll be foolproof, I whipped it up in a couple hours but hopefully it's still a neat tool, and if you want to make your own changes to it go for it!

What do I do if one of my cats has a hyphenated colour? (Buff-Charcoal, Black-Chocolate, Orange-Brown, etc)

Like look at the first line of the image, Toastie’s line
Toastie is a Smoke-Almond Tortiseshell
First color: smoke
Second color: almond
Dilution: visible

(For standards I think the second color is just the recessive)

Oooh! There was just only black/orange/both/none on the Colour 2 dropdown, so I was confused
Should I add more options for that then?

If you wanna make your own version with the more in depth colour 2 dropdown go for it! I just laid it out way that makes the most sense for me personally but you're free to make your own copies to tinker with and change however you prefer! If you make a new template I'll happily add it to the main post

My thought behind having it black/orange/both/none is that because the sheet says whether a cat is trade or not you can infer what their secondary colour is (if they have one) from just black/orange and their main colour, so listing it exactly isn't necessary. The both is for nulls with both as recessive and the none is I think technically a leftover from when I was figuring out how to lay out all the info
