I'm planning on making some bug-based custom items but I'm a bit hesitant cause I don't know if they'd appeal to anyone. So I'm here to ask: Do y'all like bugs?

I like bugs (specifically, I like to observe them either from a distance or in an enclosure.) The only bug I actually hate are mosquitoes.
My favorite bugs are dragonflies/damselflies, and bees. Sometimes, I like to observe the bees go about their business during the spring in my yard.
I also like arachnids (scorpions included) and their aesthetics, but I prefer to watch them from a distance. I think the bug I'm most scared of are those big centipedes. They're cool in an otherworldly way, but that's way too many legs.

Please tell me about your favorite bugs.

i feel the same way about bugs, not a 100% big trooper of them but they're cool. i can appreciate them even if i do get the ick around them ^-^ (like big bugs and trantulas or other "hairy" types of spiders. they look really cool but id be lying if i said i don't feel uncomfortable looking at them lol)

for bugs i like the "generic" ones like butterflies, bees, moths n my fave bugs r probably ladybugs or ants, both i actually i dont mind touching and watching them skitter about in my hands :3

if u wanna make bug customs you should totally go for it! some of the most popular customs are bug related and i know there's a few bug fans around here

yeah I love bugs dearly but spiders make me so nervous, I've been trying to get over this fear though by forcing myself to be around them. nothing will make me like mosquitos though I believe that they exist purely to antagonize everything and everyone

to categorize my favorite bugs:
the ones I'd consider the cutest are bees, craneflies, and weevils
coolest are tarantulas, beetles, and dragonflies without a doubt
and maybe most controversial(?) I love stink bugs and conifer seed bugs. they're hated where I'm at but I find them charming

seconding jelly, I would love to see some bug custom items and probably lots of other people too!

i love bugs my favorite little guys... there aren't any that i dislike, i love sharing a world with them!

i was just discussing with my girlfriend like, yesterday, how its so hard for me to pick a favorite... like i have to go favorite weevil, favorite centipede, favorite moth, favorite isopod, favorite orb weaver, favorite jumping spider, etc... (long-snouted weevil, house centipede, atlas moth, rubber ducky isopod, spiny-backed orb weavers in general, bold jumping spider )

ANYWAY. that is to say, bug apparel is so awesome. and you should make it. and maybe let me know when you do!

I agree with bees!!!!!!!
Bees are useful and it's funny because today, Larke one of my cats found the item "bumblebees"
Anyway, it's time to go back to making a list of all the trinkets for myself.

and the Isopods buddies is a cute item too!

Eeee I totally love bugs and creepy crawlies of all sorts!! I used to be terrified of them all my life until one day I hyperfixated on a character with very overt tarantula themes and the Special Interest Info Vacuum scooped up a bunch of cool spider facts too and... you know, it's hard to be afraid of them when you realize how much they have in common with other, more traditionally likeable critters :D

In particular I love orb weavers, jumping spiders, tarantulas, and hawkmoths, but there's so many delightful lil critters to choose from that it's hard to go wrong with any of them! I hope you go forward with making lots of neat bug customs!

I don’t love them but I am definitely fascinated by those little creatures! It’s honestly shocking to me how these insects can create a functioning mini-city(ants and bees), work together and to devise creative methods to survive despite being so small.

Some bugs also have a Sci-Fi vibe to them like beetles and wasps/hornets or those with a metallic exoskeleton still I am incredibly scared of bees and wasps of all kinds please don’t come close to me thank you

P.s: technically not a “bug”, but isopods and Roly-poly’s are cute too, good to see some people appreciating them :3

I agree butterflies are beautiful. I should probably go outside more.
Although it’s still winter here.
