Two of my main adventuring cats recently became partners, and if they were to have beans then they have a chance of having null lynxpoint offspring, which I have been hoping to get ever since I knew they existed! The only issue is that my village is so very full of kittens right now. 5 adolescents, 3 kittens, 3 young kittens, and 3 beans. And all of the adolescents and kittens are students. Literally 25% of my village is just young'uns! Not to mention I'd have to send 4 cats away in order to have the beans, which means fewer cats to gather the resources to keep everybody fed and give all the students their school supplies.
But the urge to use that catmint tea is strong... Honestly if the pair decides to start a family on their own in a daily scenario I'd probably clear space in my village and let them have the beans. And just in case they wind up having a singleton I should probably tea them by next Thursday at the latest so that they can be adoptive littermates with the current batch of beans...
What do you think? Should I resist? Should I wait and see if they want beans on their own? Should I just get the tea and go for it? I might not even get a null in the first batch, let alone a lynxpoint one, so the sooner I tea them the sooner their cooldown will be up so I can try again...
I just can't take the anticipation!
