i just got back into the groove of making scenes and i just wanted to gush about how much i LOVE it- im currently working on a scene with my lineage cats and am planning another one after i finish it (tho that one might take a while bc i need a custom building) and i just love not only coming up with concepts but also the tiny details that bring everything together!! and i love placing my cats around and making them seem like they're doing stuff or just going about their day, it's like im playing with dollhouses all over again

granted it can be better on mobile bc the process is a pain but that doesn't stop me

ik that a good chunk of the playerbase doesn't care about scenes, and decor and building take less priority than clothing (just look at the amount of custom decor/buildings compared to clothes lol) but i just think it's such a fun mechanic!! often i don't have ideas or motivation to make scenes but when i do it's really enjoyable ^-^

Same! Scenes don't get a lot of love sometimes because people are more invested in making outfits, so this post is perfect.

I added my anniversary cake there because Blue loves sweets! His partner, Cheesecake---unlike her name suggests---prefers bitter and tangy foods.

ooooo- love the idea here, will be watching the scene develop with interest. i also love making scenes- atm my biggest problem is lack of notes to buy more, but im working on it!!

also @Squirmelz your scene is adorable!! im particularly enamoured with how you used the pots and planters on the second floor of the house on the left- it gives such an illusion of depth!! love it

Scenes are great when you get an idea down!!! Here's my favorite creation, a proto-train station:



It took me 8 hours one day to get the basic look down and I'm still tweaking it, but here it is!

@Squirmelz WAA that's such a cute scene!! i love the amount of plants in it, it just makes it look do cozy also i can never find a proper place to put my anni cake lol but it fits really well here!!

@popcorn i admit it's not my best but ty and yeah, at first making scenes was harder for me due to also lack of notes and resources, but after a while i've accumulated enough that it's become much simpler for me

@wingsofwasp yeah and the placing stuff is just really hard anyway, i love the concept of that scene! the idea of notcats rebuilding a library is super sweet

also yeah i did consider custom backgrounds but you'll need to make 4 to cover the entire scenes, which is 200 ef total plus you won't be able to place buildings.. so yeah
