With Adventuring just around the corner, I think it's safe to assume that Ascension will be implemented into the game relatively soon, most likely in an update not too far after the Adventuring one. I was wondering if anyone has any plans of Ascending any of their cats.

Personally I'm a tad bit hesitant on Ascending cats at the moment. I don't mind losing turns of Gathering or bio beans but I'm also not a huge fan of halos in general and the mandatory halos are throwing me off a little bit. Wings though...

If I end up deciding to ascend a cat, it will most likely be either Lyle or Edward - neither has good stats, I'm not interested in Edward having beans, and Lyle cannot have biological beans anyways so I wouldn't be loosing a lot if he ends up ascending.

I’m planning to ascend my custom, Jana. It suits her lore as shapeshifter and slightly divine. It might be awhile, because I’d like to get another cat who is similarly as good at jobs (+8 mining is the best I’ve got at the moment) and ofc I need the item, but she’s the only one I have solid plans for. I might eventually ascend Jallrein, if the later guardians have traits that I think match, but that’s a long way off.

I plan to eventually ascend a dedicated adventuring team, but I would like ascension to be relatively unique and rare, and my current team I would not be want to ascend, except maybe Gladra, which I have no reason for, lorewise.

If I could get a high statted null, albino, or black cat from Nestor, then that one will also get ascended.

But I am excited to see ascended kitties! And I’m willing to bet it will come during the post-adventuring update.

No definite plans yet, but probably a north wind, orange range mackerel tabby who has low perception. Or my starter squad null Reil.

I'm not quite sure yet. I'd quite like to ascend a null as I think they'd look pretty, but I don't want to lose other cats having bio beans so I think I'll have to choose some cats to not partner and try that.

I feel pretty certain I want to ascend my custom cat Jay. I don't know if I'll do it immediately or not, but def at some point!

I want to use them for adventuring regardless, so the stat boost would certainly not be unwelcome and I think they will look super cool with halo, eyes and wings
