For one strange little not-cat, the questions of who, where, and why spin endlessly on that cyclical trail from one point to another. You, caught between two places they don't belong, finally hears the call of Something and sets out to find whatever lies Beyond.
This story follows You on their journey as they feel the inescapable pull of something familiar they have never known, something they never had but lost anyway. Your tale is one of longing, of searching, and ultimately, of belonging.

Additionally, while this thread is in the second person, You is not meant to represent the reader. They are their own character; the choice of second person is meant to amplify the themes and emotions I'm going for.
This thread will serve to explain my personal lore, what the Wardens do, who my not-cats are, and what the heck an angel is. My goal is to use this as writing practice while my much larger writing projects are on hold, and what better way to pass the time than with eldritch kitties?
When I'm done writing and editing, new chapters will be posted once a week; currently, it's looking like there will be five or so. I hope it's entertaining!
