Currently, the white markings filter works based on separate terms referring to the outward appearance for each ws-gene.
I would like to preserve the marking-oriented search, but it would be nice if the "intensity" of these genes could be filtered for in one big group; for example, if I wanted to see all the different iterations of the albino phenotype/marking at once.
I'm proposing the use of the genetic numbers 1-10 and "none" as (extra) filtering options. For example, selecting "white spotting intensity: 6" would display not-cats with the Classic Bicolor, True Piebald, Left Bicolor, Right Bicolor, and Snowmelt phenotypes - but leave out any cats with NNx6 white spotting. This would preserve the secrecy (for lack of a better term) of the cat's genetic string whilst allowing multiple varieties of the gene to be viewed at once.
For clarity, the white spotting filter having options for each individual phenotype is cluttered, but still nice to have, so these new options would be extra; preferably easy to access at the top of the list or as a seperate filtering box.
