something about hunter's pieces of clothing is messing up the open marketplace

when looking up "brown hunter's scarf" and "orange hunter's hat" the last word got cut off, saying "brown hunter" and "orange hunter" only and showing all items relating to that instead of just the hat and scarf.

it's only the hunter's stuff that have that problem, i tried with listings in other categories and other clothing but none of them had the same problem

(i am aware there's this thread that's similar, but this is not about not being able to buy them but rather listings getting cut off so i thought it's worth mentioning)

EDIT: hunter stuff and other things with apostrophies in the name also get cut off when looking them up in item database. im assuming it's because of said apostrophe

This is probably related to the URL behavior with spaces and the fix for it, because apostrophes are also encoded as a percent string in the URL string for the search term

For example, the url for searching "hunter's" is returned with a really messy value in the search term:
https://www.pixelcatsend.com/market&category=clothing&search=hunter%26%23039%3Bs&sort=priceaz

At least the search is working partway, and not going 'whoops', but anything after the apostrophe is getting eaten - and other overlooked encoded characters will probably also cause breaks.

dashes seem to work, at least - forget-me-not parses properly - but I do wonder if special name characters in the CRB might be another source of issues?

figured it had something to do with the apostrophe but thank you for giving a technological explanation

in known issues squid said that the apostrophe in hunter's clothing is also preventing ppl from buying them, so yeah i guess the apostrophies are just messin up the whole code

This specific issue with the purchasing should be fixed, but if it's not please let me know.

i don't know if it breaks purchasing because i haven't tried to buy anything, as far as im aware it's only the searching

Can confirm searching is still an issue! "hunter's coat" gets cut to "hunter"
