hi im brand new here! but i love cats and theyre the main thing i draw. ive also never actually done an art thread before but i'll just post my favorite drawings every so often :3c

spacemaverick is my art username! im on a lot of sites but im not sure if im allowed to link to sites that could have pce rule-breaking content lol

upfront content warning i guess: i draw a lot of injured/scarred characters! and i dont plan on warning for them in individual posts! blanket warning. anything else is case-by-case.
there should be alt text in every image! please let me know if it's missing or if there are any other issues!

the most recent thing i drew was a new ref sheet for my most beloved warriors oc! im getting ready for artfight, feel free to check me out there :D

a reference sheet for an original warrior cats character named applestrike. she's a a cream cat with blue eyes and a long tail and ears. she has orange covering the lower half of her legs, tail, and the top half of her face and ears. there's a scar going across her muzzle and over her left eye, whose pupil is blown, a slash across her throat, and a large area of scarring covering most of her left leg. the top of the sheet has written information, including her name colored in a blue and black gradient, the pronouns she/her, the thunderclan symbol, the lesbian and trans flags, and text reading "Leader's former apprentice, working against him to end his tyranny." her main reference drawing is posed facing left with her head turned towards the viewer, smiling. there's a second drawing above it of her face seen from the front. there are notes written all over the sheet including details about her body size, instructions on how to draw her eyes, and designated areas that can be stylized.

we are back again with another kittycat, this time its ME!!! :3c pov i am in your discord's art channel at all hours of the night
the Art Cave™ is when i spend like six hours in the middle of the night just drawing and i drag myself out of the Art Cave™ with several sketches or like two finished drawings

@Salix YAYYY GENLOSS i loved making that drawing and it popped off on tumblr which was amazing. here's the full size lol

mav is meant to just be a cute happy face so he doesn't have any actual story or personality lol. chrysanthmum on the other hand...
i've had him since i was 12 or 13 :] he's gone through several redesigns and by no means should he be considered the same character but he IS. he's gone from a small peachy-solored cat to a big fluffy orange tabby to a white cougar with orange bits to a brown liger. and most recently i took his brown liger palette and made him a kitty again. my smores boy

wooooo i drew my first six not-cats :D

six digital bust drawings of cats. the first cat is a longhaired dilute tortoiseshell lynx-point facing right and looking back towards the left with a smile. the name chestnut and the pronouns he/him are written above him. the second drawing is an orange rosette spotted cat with white paws, sleeping contentedly. the name bode and the pronouns he/they are written above them. the third drawing is a marbled gray tabby with a white underbelly and white going up her face. she's facing forward with a wide open-mouth smile. the name abacus and the pronouns she/her are written above her. the fourth drawing is a black tabby with a white underbelly, facing left with their head lowered, looking up and over at the viewer with a blank expression. the name sothale and the pronouns they/them are written next to them. the fifth drawing is another black tabby with a white underbelly and white going up its face, looking up at the viewer with a blank expression and significantly rounder eyes. a small doodle of the TBH creature (a simple shaped round quadrupedal creature with a round head and large beady eyes) is draw next to it, as well as the name schist and the pronouns it/its. the sixth and final drawing is a longhaired brown tabby with a white blaze up her nose, facing right and smiling at the viewer. the name chickweed and the pronouns she/her are written next to her.

schist was gonna be drawn at a high angle but i skronked it up
