So I feel really silly for asking, because I feel like the answer is sitting in front of me but I can't figure it out-

I was looking through some different Adventuring guides and saw that Bards and Scouts don't have a strong stat association afaik, so I thought they were made for cats whose stats are really hard to make the other builds around!

However, after levelling up a not-cat with the bard class and unlocking Hiss, it only had 2 die rolls listed as the max my cat could do, and I have no idea what it's linked to, or if the Scout also has an association that I can't find, or if it's supposed to be limited to 2 dice? I can't seem to find info on what the individual abilities are linked to either

Just looking for some clarification! I'm still struggling to team build and all the numbers and info are getting hard to keep track of, but I'm learning nonetheless!

I believe Bards attack with Spite (which scales inversely with Benevolence, lower benevolence = higher spite). Hiss for example uses Spite.

I don't think Scouts have much of a stat influence. They seem mostly made for buffing allies and helping everyone get better personality rolls (and they give everyone initiative). I might be wrong though

I think Scouts may be indirectly tied with the perception stat, as I'm pretty sure their later skills are planned to be able to move cats around and such, and thus having them go before every other cat turn-wise would be helpful. Also they boost everyone's turn order already so it seems to fit there too.
