So I was making the images version of my genetics guide, which of course uses a lot of images, which in turn take up a lot of vertical space.

I appear to have taken up too much of that vertical space

It is cutting out the bottom of the post

Here is how I broke it

The box itself has been shrunk into another box which is smaller at the edges than other post boxes;
EDIT: It has Actually pushed everything out of the container that the threads are supposed to be in!!! And also pushed the signature section off into the ether and the “last edited” sentence is almost in the void.
It has all the space for where the sig and edited sentence are supposed to be, they just… are no longer in there.

Is this an intended post size limit (of which I can just split my post into two), or is this a bug and can I have my really long guides images post XD?
EDIT: I really broke things, didn’t I

I did not intend to break anything, science just does that sometimes.

Additional Edit:
I had to edit a typo on the post, and after doing so, I scrolled to the top of the thread and discovered even more muntedness

It’s eaten the header and everything that belongs in it [back to guides button, subscribe button, title]

@DarkFang8901 Looks like this was caused by a missing img tag closure somewhere in there. If you scroll through, there's a spot where it says something like:



This means it's Probably the same as this issue since that was also caused by a missing img tag closure.

@Squid it’s even more convoluted than that. It was caused by a space.

This is where it looks like it went wrong

I originally just saw the bare code and went to have a look, but all my square boys were there
Then I did a second look and realised that image C had gone into the wrong place. That circled image is supposed to be where the bare code is.

So I checked the code

The image C code was all fine, nothing breaking it there.

Then I looked at the image coding above it

Points A and B are supposed to look identical when done correctly
What I’d forgotten to do was remove the space that gets added whenever I paste in a link.

So, somehow, image code A had decided to go “screw this URL directly behind me, I’m gonna go trapising across an entire paragraph of text and grab the next URL because that one looks tastier.”

Thereby stealing image code C’s URL and making it bare code.

Fun coding debacles ^^

I have now fixed it, thanks for the hints that got me here XD
