not entirely sure if this is the correct place to post this but not sure where else to put it, i think the forum filter might’ve overextended a little while i was trying to write some lore yesterday. i tried to write the word n i p (like, a pinch) metaphorically in the phrase ‘n i p it in the bud’ (stop it at the source) and when i tried to preview it i got censored. i can only assume it’s referring to the abbreviated word of a certain body part but in the context of the sentence it wasn’t anything untoward

I tested this just now and I'm getting the same thing---although, it does put four asterisks instead of just three, which is also weird (unless there's always four, I've never been filtered before so I'm not sure if that's normal or not)

This should no longer be being caught in the filter. For future reference, filter issues are better sent via email in case there really is a genuine reason for it to be blocked.



This specifically is normal. It makes all censored words 4 asterisks no matter how many letters there are.
