Does anyone have examples on how to place the tiny cottage with the cellar so (1) the cellar is visible but (2) the building doesn't look like it's floating? My best attempt so far is in my scene 8 but it still looks a bit off to me...

@rosydruid a lot of buildings have cut-out holes at the bottom that look like grass so they can blend in more
the way u placed urs is a bit low i think it needs to be higher

here's an example from one of my scenes, not the same building but it functions the same way lol. you can see the grass cutouts at the bottom (tho they look kinda weird in winter, they look much better in other seasons)
you can also add other buildings and decor to ground it in, like what ive done with the stone garden

I don't actually imagine it as being underground but rather an above-ground stone foundation, but I personally like to line it up with fences or walls like:

Same here. I never imagined it to be underground, which makes it much easier to use!

But it’s like a- I don’t really know how to explain it. Like one door and then a diagonal staircase above it up to the second one! That is so adorable!!
