for anyone who doesn't know. Fer.al was an MMO-type game made by the creators of Animal Jam that ran from 2019 - 2022. it was centered around mythogical creatures (kitsunes, senri, fae, etc) and aimed to be at an older audience (compared to Animal Jam). it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the artstyle was so striking. the customization was SO cool too

in early 2022 it ended up being shut down and sort of... recycled for an NFT game, which i think crashed at around February of this year. it was a very sudden shutdown (for both games) and it was horribly sad to watch </3 i was there since closed beta, so you can imagine how upset i was when it got shut down

however!!! some lovely people made an emulator so you can still play fer.al :3 not sure if i'm allowed to say where exactly to find it but i'm sure you can find it if you do some digging?

this is my kitsune :3 she's unnamed right now but i love her so much. the vines on her left cheek & on her back took AGES and i think i used around 230 decals? im very proud of her. i plan to add more on her legs & tail but i need a break lol

this is North, my jackalope! i made him recently when i was getting back into the game so he might be a bit wonky. i really love how you can give the jackalope massive ears

mannnn I miss Fer.al I took part in testing(?) and LOVED it, but took a break and never replayed it before it got shut down. Wish I had a screenie of my main(a Senri) but alas I do not. Really hope someone comes around to making a game similar to it.
