I’ve been having trouble Adventuring in Autumn and now in Spring because the enemies blend right into the background for me.

I've been thinking about some possible suggestions that might help with my Adventuring:
* Ability to select different, brighter or darker background colors for your Adventuring not-cat group and enemies that are also not in the same color group and hue as that background color/season in play. For example, Autumn has a burnt sienna color and each not-cats also is in a burnt sienna square background. There should be an option for a brighter (or darker for others) background for the enemies and another brighter (or darker for others) color background for our not-cat group so it’s easier to find and distinguish between the two. I know the buttercup smoke on my not-cat makes a huge difference, but smoke clothes are expensive for the entire Adventure team. Unfortunately, this still does not fix the background for the enemies because they still blend right into the background color/season for me. :( Maybe we can dress up the enemies a little with bright smoke-like clothing or backgrounds thonk

* Ability to select different colors for the highlighted obstacles and boxes/chest colors so that they are not in the same color group of that background color/season in play. For example, blue-green highlighted obstacles with grass (a dark-blue? background) for Spring season is not easy for me to see. Of course, the blue-green highlighted obstacles with Autumn was great so the ability to toggle colors around would improve my Adventuring.

* Bolder enemies, obstacles, & boxes/chests outlines (like that thickness of when you pick which enemies to attack or when it's your cat's move) would help a lot

* Lighter/darker Adventure background for all seasons (suggested in the Bright snow in adventures thread)

support. the item/chest outlines are basically impossible to see during winter, and the cat/enemy backgrounds colour blend in too much

Since I’ve posted, I’ve been thinking more about my Adventuring experience. I would like to add the ability to toggle different color background squares that each of the not-cats Adventure team sits in so that I can just pick Color #1 goes first, then Color #2 goes next, etc. The options should have contrasting colors and different hue from the color/season in play. We can still have the option of one color not-cat Adventure team background square and another color for the enemies’ background square if others prefer. Thank you.

Background: Looking back from when I first started playing PCE, my starter not-cats had (and still have) 2 cats that looked similar in color while Adventuring, & - both light colors. For a long time, I had a hard time picking which not-cats should go where to fight and having the animation turned on told me that I picked the wrong not-cat to go again. When I finally got the “Best Friend Grey Bun” clothing is when I finally can see the difference in the square that the not-cat sits in. A small trinket necklace and even Rainbow Clouds of Hearts were too small in pixels for my eyes to see any significant difference between the two cats while Adventuring. I know I mention smoke clothing for not-cats, but buying different color smoke & find out that that smoke color blends right into the background after I pay so much for them, would be disappointing. Also, if I buy all the same color smoke clothing, my 2 similar not-cat in my team will take me more effort to tell them apart. Thus, having the ability to toggle different color background squares for each of the not-cats Adventure team so that I can just pick Color #1 goes first, then Color #2, etc. goes next would help significantly.

@jelliejam Thank you for supporting. It really means a lot to me. I am hoping that thicker highlights around enemies/obstacles/boxes and toggleable contrasting colors of different hues would help with winter adventuring too.
