[WIP] The cats of the Steeple were, formerly, a group of strange cats who lived about an abandoned church and graveyard. Originally a small clowder of several families, the Choir, Cairn and Chancel surnames eventually became adopted as roles instead, to denote a cat’s leanings towards certain roles - with the Choir having an affinity for magic and emotion-driven work, and the Chancel leaning towards more physical hard labor or specialty roles. The Cairn cats are still grave-tenders, and servants of spirits, few in number due to how rarely a cat tends towards their odd lifestyle.
