Personal statement and additional comments: As founder of Kairos, I try my best to keep track of all village activity, including ensuring our newest and youngest members are being taken care of. Thus, I already have experience as a guiding force for our kittens, who are already comfortable around me as I am one of the first people they get to know. As far as I know, none of our other qualified individuals appear interested in this position currently, but Cupcake and I both agree that the kids deserve an education as early as possible so in the meantime I will do my best until we hire a more experience and qualified teacher.

Documented Name: Devilwood | Preferred Name: Dr. Evil
Origins and Meaning: "I originally named myself after an Earth plant the other founders told me about that is native to their area. Since I'm now a doctor, I call myself a shortened version of that, because I think being called 'Dr. Evil' is funny."
Origins and Meaning: "My real name is かかし -- pronounced 'Kakashi' -- a Japanese name meaning 'scarecrow'. However, I am a cat, hence 'KAT-kashi'. My friends usually just call me Kat!"
Origins and Meaning: "My name comes from the Mandarin word '老虎' (lǎohǔ), meaning 'tiger', and '心' (xīn), meaning 'heart'. I used to go by 'Bird' and will still respond to it, but I believe 'Tiger' suits me better!"
Origins and Meaning: "I used to live next to a human family with a child who would watch a TV series about a hamster named 'Hamtaro' that looked like me, so that's what my friends would call me. For those who have never been to Earth, a hamster is similar to a mini-pig, and a TV - or television - series is kind of like a play that is performed inside a large box. I wish I could show you all someday!"
Origins and Meaning: "I was named by a human couple who used to feed me when they passed by, and they even built a small roof over their window to provide me a dry place to stay when it rains. They used to call me 'Salem', the name of various cities on Earth. Apparently many black cats such as myself are considered unlucky and receive the name Salem as it is associated with witchcraft."
Origins and Meaning: "Like Hamtaro, I am named after a character in a TV series I saw back on Earth. Most call her Maze, so that's the name I go by, but her full name is Mazikeen. She is a demon and very cool! It turns out she is also named after a type of demon that appears in human mythology called 'mazzikin' - that is what I use for official documentation."
Origins and Meaning: "Originally, I was supposed to be named 'Speck'. Mx. Salem and Mx. Maze suggested my new name. A seraph is a six winged angel, prominent in many human mythologies back on Earth. I saw a depiction of one in a discarded book once - they look kind of like ascended not-cats. A cherub is another type of angel, so when Mx. Cherub adopted her kitten, she gave aer my old name so it's like we swapped places!"
