Back on Earth, Sutlin had a rough life. He lived in a colony of stray cats. When he was born, the colony was weak and usually targeted by other stray cats in the area. He grew up having to defend himself and those he cared about from aggressive strays, and other animals. As he grew up, he gained more of the colony's trust, due to his strength and his quick thinking skills. After he was made the colony leader, he brought a new era of prosperity to the stray cats. However, all good things come to an end. Some of his closest advisors got too greedy, and when Sutlin failed to get them enough territory, he was thrown out of his own colony. He wandered the streets alone for a few months, with his main friend being Nestor, until one day, Nestor got him and a few other cats together, and brought them to Not-Earth.
