Beetle is often called "Beat" by other not-cats in the village. No one is really sure how he got this nickname, but he has no issue with it. Maybe it's because he was always causing trouble, and was normally told to "beat it" in the aftermath of his chaos? Maybe it was because Petunia once called him "Beet" when he was digging around in her garden? "Don't dig up my beets, Beet!" However it's spelled, he doesn't mind it. He likes to cause trouble, but he has some empathy and doesn't make other not-cats upset when he knows they aren't feeling their best. He may cross this line if he doesn't particularly like the not-cat in mind.

Beetle has absolutely no interest in any sorts of romantic relationships. He is the crazy, attention seeking, trouble making little brother in the village. He also finds beans annoying and has no interest in having/adopting any himself.
