Happy-go-lucky and helpful, Pigeon is a delight to be around, if a bit ditzy regarding social situations. He's a lot more competent than he'd seem at first glance, and is dedicated to making himself useful- he genuinely
likes to work himself to the bone, and tends not to even realize if he's hitting a wall. He has boundless energy until he doesn't.
Pigeon is a friendly little guy who would put himself in danger for friends, strangers and enemies alike- he's just kind of
like that.
Relationships
MAJOR RELATIONSHIPS:
Rain ✦ partner ✦
Rain and Pigeon value time spent doing stuff together, and so they occupy themselves with taking walks by the nearby lake or weeding Rain’s fields or playing board games- whether home-made not-cat classics or home-made half-remembered renditions of a card game Skyfish saw this one human play that one time. (They have their own hellish, near-incomprehensible rendition of Uno.) Whatever it is, they’re a chatty duo, both when it comes to idle gossip or to more sensitive topics. Pigeon cares deeply about Rain, even if he can come on a little too strong; he’s a naturally protective not-cat, but has learned that Rain is not someone who needs protecting. He’s often the one to initiate affectionate or romantic gestures, and Rain is happy to oblige him.
Skyfish ✦ partner ✦
Pigeon has endeared himself to Skyfish through sheer force of just being genuinely nice and earnest, and Skyfish to Pigeon through being a good not-cat for him to open up to. Although they share few interests, they support each other in very basic but meaningful ways, and a fair amount of times have stepped out of their respective comfort zones for the sake of trying to understand their partner’s interest. Pigeon frequently checks in on Skyfish and brings them food or water or cool sticks; when he isn’t roped into helping out with a craft or studying some topic (magic is a favorite), his efforts are often rewarded with some little craft Skyfish has whipped up. Pigeon’s burrow is a little cluttered with gifts at this point.
Skyfish doesn’t really view her relationship with Pigeon in a romantic context, as she doesn’t view any relationship in such a way (aroace). This doesn’t especially affect their relationship, though; Pigeon isn’t much for trifling things like social expectations anyway, and so isn’t especially bothered by Skyfish’s different way of looking at their relationship.
