i just changed my avatar from petunia and it feels really weird bc ive been used to having her for so long

and i was wondering how often do you like to change ur avatar? usually when it comes to social media and stuff i used to change all the time but if i had something long enough that it's become what im associated with im more hesitant to change it... and ive had petunia for months and she's basically become my brand which is why i might go back someday idk i just wanted to try something different

cats ive had as my avatar before are my custom, dallas, eri, nino, then petunia who stayed the longest and now scarab

I usually try to keep my profile pics and username the same so people don't get confused because I sure know I do, lol some of my friends do it like every day and I'm like, uh, who are you?

but lately I think wisp has been feeling the urge to flavor things up a bit. so I'm keeping their core clothing (hardwood bark shield + tasty white wildflower) a constant and plan to put together a few mini-outfits like this one. that should keep a new balance between flavor and recognizability!

I have only had 2 but I have changed the first ones clothes a ton. Meanwhile my current pfp I have had the same outfit the whole time.

I just changed mine today! Usually I only do it if I have a cat who I really connect with or love the vibes of. I've only ever had Eir, Rose, Aurelian, and Odd as my avatars before. I had Devil Ray for one day until I felt lost without Eir so I switched back Now I'm using Roc!

As I go through my traveling cats I think I might have used Hina for a little bit, but if I did it definitely wasn't for super long.

Sometimes I just gotta change up the vibe:tm: a bit which is why I switch. I only use cats who I absolutely bond with so random Nestor cats that just kinda exist wouldn't really fit.

i've been playing for six months now and have never changed my avatar cat even once ............ precious is my irl cat and the quote unquote "main character" of my lore, so it just feels right to keep her as my avatar! plus it's been so long without a change it would feel super weird to use a different cat lol

i've only changed it once!! currently it's parsnip, my mayor and most chocolate-y kitty. before that it was my custom, aluminum foil, but it's been parsnip for so long that i barely even remember anything else.

I've never changed mine from my custom cat, but if I ever really felt like it, I'd probably change it to either of my Callie or Marie fancats.

I’ve kept my custom the whole time I’ve played bc I love her so much and she’s familiar <3 also I see people as their cats on forums and recognize them as their cat so I get kinda confused whenever people change

i tried to briefly change my avatar from my custom cat to another cat literally today but it felt so uncomfortable i think my plan to deal with this is that i really just want to dress my custom cat up in a different outfit.... the exact details for that new outfit haven't quite come to me yet though.

theres two that i usually switch from every other week or so but tater (current guy) is an exception
