When adventuring do you typically run 1 or 2 fodder? I have been doing 2 and I really miss my 4 harmony lol. I just had a fight where my 2 super strong fighters whiffed 2 rounds in a row an easy fight took about 3-4 rounds. Obviously this is quite rare but it is super annoying when they do roll really low. With 4 harmony low rolls still basically one hit everything.

Sooo do you think saving time by doing a 3 squad with 4 harmony and 1 fodder is it worth it or does it seem to be better running 2 with 2 harmony and 2 fodder? I guess you could take something like the amount of runs in an hour with each and dictate from that how many drops/cards/backpacks you would get in each of these strategies.

purrsonally i find it more efficient to adventure with 2 at a time so i have to constantly switch and assign classes less. i do admit it is a bit of a pain with adventure going slower but my regular 2 members are strong enough that they can go through most enemies without much trouble

(also i only have energy to adventure one batch, so if i train 2 at a time i get more rewards for my time)

@jellyjam I definitely do batches until I want to make money for stuff and I do like doing 2 for batches it feels the most rewarding. My village is also full so I am more training people and not getting the money back for selling or citying so it makes it feel slower there as well.

It’s funny though because after being spoiled to one turn per fight all the way through it is really hard to stomach waiting for the enemies to attack lol.

Right now I’m out and about using my phone so it probably feels extra long on top of everything.

I don't really train up fodder but when I do level up my not-cats I do 2 at a time. One reason is because I can set them to be best friends for that sweet harmony (or do siblings pairs). Another reason is that it's just more efficient, two for roughly the same amount of time.

I only do 1! I already have an adventurer that's part of the friend group, level 4 in multiple classes, and who I love in other contexts, but... he's kind of the weak link on my team. With their best friends on the team, too, Glory, my absolute tank (they can get a maximum of like 63 damage just because of levels and dice), can have a harmony of 4. The other two only have 3. Also, my village is packed! I can really only have one or two free spaces/fodder cats/etc

I usually run 1 at a time. However, sometimes I run two trainees for a specific reason. When I first start a trainee I run them with another for their first level - that way multiple trainees get EXP at once and the newer one works their way up to learning the skill they're gonna spam for the rest of their training. (I train scouts by default so they run Call to Action)
When I run 2 trainees I never run the final section because the difficulty ramps up a lot there, and I don't feel safe with only two properly trained cats there. (Especially since the last section also has a ton of 3-4 enemy encounters, often spread out over the full map. No safe corner to hide.) To compensate the lowered EXP, I run up to that point twice in a row - usually by the end the EXP gain is equal to or slightly greater than one full run. Then I can take the lower leveled trainee off to finish the more experienced trainee and send them along.

I used to do 1 at a time, but lately I've been doing 2 with a pair of rangers. They both have very good finesse (5 dice) and add another 2 dice due to luncheon. I ran out of cats I feel okay with sending to the city, so I'm just levelling the cats I have travelling that need levelled.

I can usually get 4 trained up in a day because I have a lot of time on my hands.

I technically do one, but for me its 1 fighter, 1 fighter-healer or ranger-scout, 1 city kitty, and 1 cat I'm training to be adventuring viable. I count it as 2 because it's 2 cats who can't hold their own.

I'm not really trying to blast through the adventure but I imagine the time reduction you get from 3 damagers is still more overall runtime than training 2 cats

I switch between having 1 and 2 backpack cats depending on how I'm feeling and what the weather is like for the day, plus whether or not the kitties actually have passable attack stats. If I'm running 2 newbies then I stagger them so that one is a level higher than the other and the overall damage output remains higher, so it's not quite as much of a slog lol
