So! I was messing around with the beans sandbox with two of my cats. They are, as far as I know, not null carriers. None of their beans had been nulls up to this point, so imagine my surprise when I saw this!

A white kitten! But where this little white kitten come from? I'm very confused! It's... not a null, I don't think so, but what is it then?

These are the parents, should I breed them, by the by!

Thank you in advance for explaining if you know what this is! I'm still a little lost on genetics and what exactly can happen with genetics, so if this is something obvious please don't make fun of me haha.

Toad isn't a null carrier, but Grey is!

What you've witnessed is called the "pushy north gene." On very rare occasions, a kitten can inherit a second gene from the North parent in place of the South parent. For this little null to appear, the prediction inherited two wind genes from Grey. In order to be a Null, they got the Null gene (O) twice!
