Welcome to my thread! I'm making this to show everyone the board game i'm making IRL based off the Adventure battle board! Here I will be breaking down the stages and development for the board game and how it differs from the Adventure battle board!
This is a HUGE project and I appreciate any and all support!
» Stage 1: Planning Status: In Progress.
This stage is all about planning the board game and how it's going to look and function as a real, playable game!
What to plan:
» Materials
» Board, player and enemy token sizes
» Gameplay mechanics
» Number of dice and sizes of said dice
» Cat tokens and what they're going to look like
» Enemy tokens and which one's are going to make it into the game
» Cat & enemy Stats
» Classes
» Dice system
» Stage 2: Creating the Board Status: Not Started.
This stage is the more fun stage! In this stage, I get to actually start putting together the board and how everything's going to play out.
What to make:
» Board
» Cat & enemy tokens
» Dice
» Stage 3: Figuring Out Game Mechanics Status: Not Started.
This stage is all about the game's functionality and mechanics! Classes, stats and more will be all planned out in this stage.
What to figure out:
» Dice odds
» Classes
» Stats
» Cat & enemy ranges
» Stage 4: Putting It All Together Status: Not Started.
This stage is all about making the game fully playable! As the title of this stage suggests, this is when I will piece everything together to make this a reality.
What am I making exactly?
This!
Like I had stated before, this project is going to take a long time! More then 2 weeks all depending on my motivation and material supply. Any and all support is greatly appreciated! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
