Hello friends! I appear to be having an issue with coding images on this site. In my cat bios I thought it would be cute to have images of each cat in their various life stages, so I went through the work of screenshotting them all from the Sandbox and trimming them to shape. One of the guide posts mentions discord as a good image hosting site, so I plan to use that. However, I'm having trouble getting the images to show?

I come from Flight Rising which also uses bbc code so here's what I've noticed:
1: these particular links aren't working on Flight Rising either despite me having used discord to host several times before
2: other images i have hosted on discord work on Flight Rising
3: other images I have hosted on discord don't work in the bios of my cats?
4: when putting one of the older images i have hosted on discord into the bio of one of my cats, the coding text all disappears except for the alt text of the first which remains visible, and no image is shown

so it seems like these particular links have something wrong that I'm not noticing for them to not work on either site, that's my own error but tips would be appreciated! however I also can't seem to get anything from discord to work in my cats' bios (or here in the forums I have tested in the same way) and I can't understand why or figure out what my error might be

I think for some reason this has to do with the file extension being capitalized... I uploaded the image to my own Discord server and it seems to work.



Try copying the image and pasting them into Discord, then use that new link.

oh how strange, your version of the image works for me but only if placed above the broken links, manually changing the file extensions from upper to lower case doesn't seem to work, and copy-pasting into discord doesn't provide a different link for me?

oop I didn't see a reply here. If the link doesn't change try either deleting and reuploading or using a different server channel.
