3/5/2023 -- due to preparation for IRL Travel Things (TM), I've been having some delays, and they're expected to continue for about another week. feel free to still leave orders, just expect a few extra days turnaround!
hey there, I’m Val! I’m new to the site, and I decided that a fun way to get a few extra notes would be to open a little gimmick shop, soooo, I will do a simple 3-card tarot spread for your not-cats, and interpret it, taking into account things like their personality, day job, and relationships to come up with a cohesive reading for them. No lore is required, but if you want to provide me some, I’ll consider that along with the aforementioned stuff in the reading, as well as any other details you give me in your request!
Here are some example readings for some of my own not-cats to give you an idea of what sort of length and detail you can expect!
Past: The World
Present: 6 of Wands
Future: 6 of Pentacles
Based on this reading, Briar is an incredibly generous soul, even more than their personality as a gentle not-cat would make one expect. The Major Arcana in the Past card with Minor Arcana in the Present and Future indicates that a lot of significant events have already come to pass (their migration from Earth and their adoption of Bayleaf, one presumes), and quieter seas lie up ahead. The World and 6 of Pentacles are very nurturing and self-sacrificial cards, very in line with what would be expected for a gentle not-cat, but 6 of Wands is much more dramatic. It seems Briar seeks the spotlight more than they’d like to admit, or at least wishes the others in their village would show their appreciation more for Briar’s generosity.
Past: 4 of Wands
Present: The Chariot
Future: 4 of Swords Reversed
Slow down a little bit, Lilt. While the past was very bright, with plenty of community to get involved in forming friendships in (super important for a protective not-cat! Without a community, who do you protect?), the present and future cards offer up a warning. The Chariot marks speed, motion, and determination, which is all well and good, except 4 of Swords Reversed symbolizes stress and burnout. Lilt might get a little too invested in trying to protect its newfound community and friendships, spreading itself too thin.
If you're interested, comment with the not-cat(s) you would like a reading for, any additional details you'd like me to consider, and your offer for payment (this is, like the thread name says, PWYW) and I'll get to your reading when I'm available to!
