Tentative Fix for the 403 Errors when Searching/Assigning Mail Carrier

A server update last week broke numerous parts of the site when the server started blocking and rejecting any urls with spaces encoded as %20. This meant it was no longer possible to search for anything including a space and mail carriers could not be assigned at the village lodge.

This should be potentially fixed now - but there's a chance I missed a spot. Visit this bug thread if you encounter any lingering places on site that give you a "Whoops! You're not allowed to do that." error.

New Pop-up Menus

Every pop-up confirmation menu on site has been torn out of the site and replaced with a custom one. Since it no longer uses the javascript default, I will, going forward, have more control over what shows up there. It also means you no longer have to worry about checking the "do not show me this again" box and thus locking yourself out of the market forever!

This was going to be tossed into the next update, but I needed to push it live early as it involved the same pages as the url bug above.

Major In-Game vs Real Date Bug

A large percentage of cats had their real dates of birth translated to in-game dates wrong. It seemed to be more or less at random (possibly a rounding issue), affecting some cats but not others. This has been corrected. Your cats may have different dates of birth now listed on their profiles - these are the true dates that were being used to determine ages and access to certain features of the site.

Other Bug Fixes

- Fixed issue where all beans born after the white markings update generated with incorrect genetic strings. The cause of this has been corrected and all beans have had their strings modified and fixed.

- Opening a treasure chest no longer breaks the layout

- Signature is no longer impossible to clear to empty

- Adventuring parties with less than 4 cats are no longer accompanied by a strange ghost during skill challenges

- Fixed issue where monster text started keymashing again after the removal of the extra confirmation menu

- Adding too long of a title no longer wipes the text content when attempting to submit email ticket

- Cats that share a name are no longer missing from the avatar select menu

- Apricot Tortoiseshell spotted no longer has an incorrect pattern on half of its body.

- Fixed issue where there was a hidden invisible link on profiles of specialty cats that was leading to a broken page
