In Greek mythology, Nyx is the goddess of Night and the daughter of Chaos. She welcomes you to take a look at her creation.

The long-term goal of Project NYX is to breed void not-cats and sell them at a huge discount to those who want them. It is notoriously difficult to obtain a void on PCE if you didn't think to start out with one—and Project NYX seeks to rectify that in the name of making this game more fun than frustrating.

This is for those who wish to memorialize a pet of theirs; those who want the cat they can't have in real life; or those who just want to own a cute pixel sprite of a black cat!

This project would not have kicked off so quickly without the help of the community thus far. Thank you, everyone, for your willingness to help out, and may the goddess Nyx bring darkness upon you all.

Vine & Equinox
A small potential for SH and LH voids! Otherwise can produce white markings, grays, and watercolors. This pair is prone to change if I find a better partner for either! Equinox will go back to @Summoner once the breeding cooldown period has ended.

This pair will be bred in my village. Both cats belong to me! They are equally likely to produce voids or chocolates, all SH.

I've revamped our early access pinglist to separate them into categories: LH, SH, and Cow Cats (black&white)! Not everyone on the pinglist has responded yet, but that's okay! Everyone is maintaining their spot in line.

Please note that if you're on both LH & SH lists, you will be moved to the end of the line once you get your first cat. If you don't want to remain on the list, please let me know!



At long last, Project NYX has finally had our first litter of void beans! They will be ready to travel shortly.

Everyone on the early access pinglist will have the chance to purchase a void, in order. Each void costs 5k notes, or 1 business card.

Our newest litter gave us 2 lovely voids. One of them, Endless, is up for purchase to the first person on our early access list; and their sibling Equinox will be raffled off for free over at The SPACE Station! head over there to enter; the winner will be announced on February 23.

In the future, Project NYX plans on having multiple litters going at once, so there will hopefully be more than 1-2 beans each round.

In addition to full voids, I'll be also breeding for voids with white markings! A line of lovely cow cats :3 they are not a huge priority at the moment, but I do have a couple ideas of who I think would make cute cow beans... so far here's just one potential pair with two reject beans:

They have a high chance of producing shorthair full voids! I'm hopeful I can get at least 1 void for myself from this pair the first time around.

They didn't produce exactly what I was hoping for, but they are quite cute and can likely go on to breed in a 2nd gen!

holly & terran
Terran was sent to me courtesy of @nsolar , thank you! Terran will be returned once the breeding cooldown period has ended. This pair is most likely to produce orange babies, but a small chance for voids. The hope is that their babies will be longhair/longhair carriers and black carriers!

Ashe & Inky
This pair will be bred courtesy of @Eva , thank you! Inky could end up being switched out with another cat, but for now this is the plan! They have a decent chance of making voids; black with white markings & gray cats seem likely as well, which is great!

Honeysuckle & Agate
These two have a low chance of making a void, but will hopefully give me a cat with good genes for a gen 2! I'll likely end up pairing Agate with Rhea after this litter, as they seem to have a good chance of LH voids (unless something better comes along, of course!)

They didn't do the best, but these cats are so cute <3 I believe all of them carry solid, but also carry their patterns which isn't ideal. Plus two of them are South and I have so many South cats!

Sorbet & Cavern
This pair will be bred at the end of August, courtesy of @werepickle . Thank you! The pair will stay with werepickle and I will purchase their resulting beans. They are most likely to produce orange longhairs, but the hope is that they'll carry black. LONGHAIRS HERE WE GO!

This pair will be bred courtesy of @SummerMiko shortly. Thank you! This pair is VERY likely to produce shorthair voids, so fingers crossed!

This pair will be bred in my village courtesy of @jellyjam and @byleth ! Both cats will go back to their respective owners once the bean cooldown period has ended.

Nutmeg & Birch
High potential for LH voids! I accidentally breeded Birch with another cat, so it took a while but he's finally paired up with the right cat! I am so sorry!! Birch will return to @Lokes once the cooldown period had ended, likely with a bean from this litter.

These two have a good chance of producing LH voids!
