Auuhhh... I don't have any specific interaction ideas, so here's a bit about their dynamic! (Haunt also has some more in his bio).
Lye is definitely the more social of the two; he enjoys social interaction but is be very easy/quick to irritate and so while he's good at & enjoys taking charge in social situations, ironically he's not actually very fond of people as a whole. Luckily, he's good at putting up a front AND the kind of person to laugh when he's angry. Very much an outdoors guy, he's constantly restless and looking for something to discover (if he can't get out of the village to explore, this results in subtly testing people's boundaries until he's told off.)

Haunt is a big scary fighter & intimidates people very easily, but it's a family man at heart. He likes to be scary because it's often useful in protecting his friends, but he also has no qualms about expressing affection/care/other emotions freely. The only issue is that it's nonverbal and as resting **** face, so its initial introduction to the village was... rough, before Lye managed to help it out. Haunt is pretty tactile as a means of expressing itself, and doesn't really have a good sense of personal space, especially with people it likes, so ends up looming way more than necessary.

Together, Lye takes up a translator-adjacent role for people who haven't gotten used to Haunt's ways of communicating (it basically plays charades all day every day. Go Haunt.) And Haunt curbs Lye's more destructive impulses by accompanying him outside of the villiage do that he feels safe enough to explore further for longer. (He's a ranger, so it's nice to have a close-range fighter available.) Lye also doesn't mind any of Haunt's habits that other people find unnerving or annoying (making strange noises, looming, being overly tactile) because in his mind Haunt can simply do no wrong. In turn, Haunt isn't afraid to enforce its boundaries when Lye gets in the mood to test the limit, but will also will immediately turn around and continue being affectionate as if nothing happened.
