the primorah rainforest has an awful stray cat problem. nobody knows why, and they definitely don't know how. it's hard enough for humans to survive among the panthers with 3 rows of teeth and foot-long mosquitos that carry god knows what diseases. but natural selection be damned, the unassuming cats do just fine. a scientist from the floating isles even went over to investigate after hearing reports about them, and noticed that they seemed to know exactly what flora to avoid and could even mess with their scents to lead predators astray. T.W.A.I.N.E had tried multiple times to capture the little furballs and turn them into drinking water, but eventually gave up after the latest party took a wrong turn halfway through the route and ended up in a vine python nest. in an ecosystem full of mysteries, who could have predicted that a colony of house cats would be the most intriguing?
