first into not-earth came Keane, tumbling head over tail, bracing for the fall.
Night followed eagerly after, a bounce in her step, wishing for adventure.
Escariet followed tentatively, hoping for better things on the other side.
Xithyl complained as he went, but followed nonetheless, never one to be left behind.
after came Sea, ever good-natured, meandering carefully in his friends' wake.
and finally Yssik, fretting all the while, sticking by her friends regardless of her fears.
the group of six friends alighted in a strange new world, in the middle of winter. they hurried to make a fire, bracing against the cold. blessedly, the snow was gentle that night, not putting out the flames or freezing them where they slept. in remembrance of that first night, they took to calling their fledgeling village Lightsnow.
I can't wait to see them fully finished! they are so pretty and organized
